we're talking about pakistan here not india. india's constitution protects its minorities. the fact that extremists exist and have done harm in the past is a different story. According to India's constitution all Indians are equal.

In Jinnah's own words, in Pakistan, a Muslim would cease to be a Muslim, a Hindu would cease to be a Hindu, not in a religious sense but in a political sense. Is that the case in today's Pakistan? Nope. This is what I'm trying to say.

In my opinion, Jinnah had the right intentions but was naive in thinking that a secular Muslim state could be created in Pakistan.
