Youth killed in J&K anti-Israel protest - The Times of India

SRINAGAR: A youth was killed after a protest against Israel's action on Gaza turned violent on Saturday in Jammu & Kashmir's Kulgam district.

Suhail Ahmad Lone (15) was killed after CRPF allegedly opened fire during massive anti-Israel protests here. Police have registered an FIR.

IGP Kashmir A G Mir said, "We have taken a serious note of this unfortunate killing and we are looking into it."

"An unfortunate incident of firing has taken place in Khudwani Kulgam in which one boy Suhail Ahmad Lone lost his life," said a police statement.

The circumstances leading to the firing are being enquired into, the statement added.

Locals of Khudwani and its adjoining areas had taken out a protest rally which turned violent when CRPF personnel used batons to disperse the protesters.

According to a police spokesman the youth started pelting stones after which CRPF personnel allegedly opened fire resulting in death of Lone and injuries to another.

Shame on the 15 year old's parents. He should have been home, studying for a bright future. Not at a protest site with a long history of violence.

What these protestors mean is,
1. Israel should stop the military operation against Gaza, IDF should kidnap 3 Palestinians and lynch them instead. Just like peaceful Hamas did. Military operation should be stopped at any cost.

2. If we cant go to Gaza to fight Israel, we surely can organize some riots in Kashmir, and burn our valley to ashes.

3. And if someone dies during this protest, then we can play the victim card here in India too.

Win win situation for all Ummah
