There was also a lot of infighting too. They discovered Younis is not quite right in the head so they had to take away his leadership responsibilities.

because he was a loner.

Captain alone is not responsible for world cup win. Everyone pitches in. Captain just executes it, such as who gets the over, field stuff.

Just like Afridi is not good person to bat or bowl now, but his aggressiveness is good for captain-ship.

we've 4 tests with england next year. 3 with NZ in january i think. His avg is 55 i think. Let's say he does 50, from these two series he can get 9700 runs. If Pakistan gets another 3 match series, he can easily get 10k next year. Also there could be test in december with india though unlikely, maybe tri series with bangladesh ODI.

I actually think Test cricket is what its all about

Defensive shots , tuk tuk and then a classic single , I don't like 20/20 style rubbish slog

Cricket should allow doosra for 20/20 to even the odds but

Test cricket is all about "Fitness " Determination and Class


Defence is a real part of Cricket as much as Offence is its sad that due to none sense TV , and promotors they have killed the art of defensive play


It is integral part of day , when batsmen has to take in 20 overs from best fast bowler continuously and with out defence you have not chance...
