When the accused appeared before a judge on Friday, the father of Nabra Hassanen had to be restrained as he shouted, “You killed my daughter.”

Her mother, Sawsan Gazzar, hurled a shoe at him crying, ‘I’ll kill you!’

When the judge called the hearing on Friday, Hassanen’s parents stood up and advanced towards Martinez Torres. Hassanen’s mother, Sawsan Gazzar, threw a shoe at the accused and shouted at him, making the judge clear the courtroom.

Many consider the case to be that of hate crime, but according to the police, the slaying was the result of road rage where Martinez Torres encountered Hassanen and her friends walking in the street he was driving on.

Mohmoud Hassanen, the father, previously told the Guardian: ‘He killed my daughter because she is Muslim. That’s what I believe.’

Martinez Torres at first got into a fight with a teenage boy on a bike, police said. After that he got out of the car and began chasing the group of teens with a baseball bat before he assailed Nabra. Her body was later discovered by the police in a Sterling pond about 25 miles outside of Washington DC.

Martinez Torres, a citizen of El Salvador, was ‘so enraged over the traffic dispute that it escalated into deadly violence,’ police said.

Nabra and a group of around 15 friends were clad in abayas when they left the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, where overnight prayer services were being held during Ramazan.

Nabra did not usually choose traditional Muslim clothes, but her mother Sawsan Gazzar gave her an abaya to wear that night, according to the Washington Post. Gazzar, a detective, said Nabra stumbled over the robe and fell just before Martinez Torres struck her with a baseball bat.

Nabra’s body was dumped in a pond close to where she disappeared, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Northern Virginia reported that the teen died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck.

Since VA does not have a state hate crime act, the only way they can proof this is a hate crime is to use Federal Hate Crime law on this person. That would not be possible.

The VA Government is charging him with second degree murder (With intent, not malice) that mean the Police cannot proof Torrez have planned to kill this particular girl, that is most likely due to the fact that he attack anyone and every one in that area when he started to commit his crime , and if you cannot proof malice and planning, you cannot proof beyond reasonable doubt that he killed that girl because of her religion and such action is planned. To do that, the VA government have to charge him with Capital Murder, and in this case, there aren't any aggravated circumstances to call for that, if the VA government charge him with Capital Murder in order to go with the Federal Hate Crime act, then it will most likely the jury will return a not-guilty verdict.

You can find alot of mentally unstable people in DC and some parts of Maryland not in Virginia.
Hispanic people especially puerto ricans are the most racist people in America. In new york a hispanic lady pushed some random indian in front of a train and later boasted about his murder. A random sikh professor got attacked by latinos in spanish harlem. Another hispanic man beat a 90 year old sikh man and later stated I don't like their temples. The list goes on.

Washington Post ignores illegal alien status of man accused of killing Muslim teen.

The Washington Post willingly ignored the illegal alien status of a man who is accused of brutally murdering a Muslim teenager in Fairfax County, Virginia.
In a piece about the trial of Darwin Martinez Torres, a 22-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, the Post did not mention the fact that when Torres was accused of murdering 17-year-old Nabra Hassanen, he was never supposed to have been in the United States.

The Washington Post called Hassanen’s murder a “high-profile killing,” but failed to mention the immigration status of Torres, who is also accused of sexually assaulting a woman before the murder and is now facing the death penalty.

As reported, Hassanen and a group of fellow Muslim teenagers were eating at a nearby McDonald’s when they left and started walking back to the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center when Torres, according to police, started following the teenagers.

Soon after the teens noticed Torres, the illegal alien allegedly jumped a curb with his car and got out of his vehicle and started chasing the teens while wielding a baseball bat. Torres was able to grab Hassanen and began beating her to death with the bat, police said.

The illegal alien allegedly took her body to a nearby pond and dumped her there for the authorities to later find.


Torres now has a detainer on him by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which demands he be turned over to federal immigration officials should he be released from local custody at any point.

Despite efforts by the mainstream media to label the murder a “hate crime” that was perpetrated by an anti-Muslim attacker, police have said there is no evidence indicating that the illegal alien targeted the teen because of her religion.

In the Virginia governor’s race, sanctuary cities, which protect criminal illegal aliens, has become a hot-button issue between populist conservative Ed Gillespie and Democrat Ralph Northam.

This year, Northam was the deciding vote in supporting sanctuary cities, which have helped violent, El Salvadorian street gangs like MS-13, to proliferate across the state.

Gillespie, most recently, hit back at Northam’s support for illegal aliens and sanctuary cities by releasing a multitude of ad campaigns directly mentioning how the MS-13 gang poses a grave danger to Virginia residents.
