Did you see Hamas destroying Israel formidable Merkava tanks? They were destroyed by rather primitive RPG-7s.

Stop talking about things u have no clue about. The only difference between Arab armies Abrams and US is lack of DU in FRONTAL armor. While ATGM strike sides of tanks mostly.

More over, DU exists only in M1A1HA and M1A2 US versions. Regular M1 and M1A1 don't have DU.

Finally UK Challenger 2 or Merkava Mk4 dont have any DU yet considered most protected tanks.

For an ex tanker, your knowledge is very poor ...so let not discuss the part of the technology used in their construction, since you have no clue!. I was talking that the equipment received by arab armies are downgraded, the downgrade added to a poor training make these tanks very vulnerable. We saw it in Lebanon , the merkava being easily destroyed or immobolized by Hizbollah, we saw it in Irak and we are seeing it in Yemen now...American abrams did have the same problem in Iraq during the two gulf wars..

I dont tell you my opinions, but facts. The only "downgrade" is lack of DU in front. Thats about it. Sides are exactly the same.

Easy destruction of Merkava is nonsense. Hezbollah fired hundreds of ATGM, including TOW and Kornet and destroyed only 3 (two additional were destroyed by large IED).

Recently Hamas fired many ATGMs including Kornets and failed to destroy single Merkava.

As for Abrams in Gulf Wars, no single enemy ATGM was fired against them:

As u can see, sides of US Abrams were penetrated even by ancient RPGs.

Konkur specially the Konkur-M version is perhaps the 2nd most devastating pan portable atgm at the moment besides Kornet(which is another gem of an atgm).The 2006 Lebanon war proved in front of everybody the superiority of the Kornet missiles when the Hezbullah managed to destroy numerous Merkhava-III/IV tanks using Kornets.And the funniest thing is that we(I mean India) has an arsenal of over 25,000 Konkur-M missiles which we ordered from Russia in the last decade,plus we have another 3000 Kornet missiles along with 250 launchers.Just imagine the woes of the enemy when it'll try to invade India!!
Btw what kinds of atgm are in the Iranian Army arsenal beside BGM TOW and its derivatives??I mean,do you guys have Kornet and Konkur-M??
