Yemen has reached the technology of low altitude air defense systems. They Integrated different kinds of infrared electro optical systems with air2air missiles from Soviets era transforming them into surface to air missiles. So far, Tornado fighters, Chinese CH-4 drones, American Scan Eagle, F-15 and other bombing platforms of invading forces were among the victims of Yemeni developed airdefense systems.
