Rig vedic people had religion based on natural forces.. thats like religion v 1.0
islam came thousands of years after them, mostly work of an individual but surely many more persons were involved, its sudden departure from prevalent belief and certainly did not develop organically out of it, we can call it religion v 2.0 (most abrahamic religions are).
Rig vedic people worshipped elements like fire, water and other natural phenomena as god.
Rig Vedic People use to worship supreme creator and when we read verses in Atharveda,Upanishad etc then we do find the similarities. Supreme Creator do have his own place and no one can take his place and on that there are Gods. demi Gods, apsaras in which each god has its own duties which is similar like the duties of angels then there is talks about demons who are good and bad both which is similar like of Jinns. then Houris are similar like apsaras who live in heavens etc.
Verily He is one , Single, indivisible, supreme reality.
- Atharva Veda 13/4/20
He is the sole sovereign Of the universe. - Rig Veda 6/36/4
There is only One Who ought to be adored By the people. - Atharva Veda 2/2/1
If we read about Prophet Ibrahim tribes then we can clearly understand its about Indian tribes .
