This is such an unfortunate incident. Uniiversiities are supposed to be beacons of free speech. It is a huge point of reflection, how students courses and grades are being used as weapons and they are being threatened wiith degree cancellation, just because of making memes for teachers.

Seems like pretty standard memes. Nothing to raise hue and cry on.

We have professors like Hoodbhoy who gave extra marks to students who attended PTM rallies. Not to mention leftist "progressives" spreading propaganda against state among students and their students relocating to Balochistan's mountains as a result.

Couple of weeks back, a student was expelled after he was protesting against the rise in fee. Everyone was screaming "freedom of speech" Bla bla bla. Everyone left out a part, that the student was calling other students to come the university grounds, and protest. This is during a pandemic. Guess virus doesn't spread to students who are protesting.

As university alumni, I condemn this. Even we used to make memes on university's culture and tense environment but what university did is unethical, inhumane and against the freedom of expression. This trend they are setting for other universities is not good for academic culture.

There was nothing Vulgar about those Memes People are just toeing this line to Protect the University Administration. FAST and these other Private sector universities are nothing more than money making machines. I have great Respect for my Teachers but that respect is for only those that Deserve it i have never seen anyone saying anything but good things about them. Respect is a thing that must be earned. If Teachers are gonna show hypocrisy they are going to be called out for it If they dont want it to happen then dont be hypocrites.

Some teachers make lives of student hell so much as they commit suicides these Universities have never once taken action against those teachers and here these Einsteins are busy Creating more casualties.
