Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, Kashmir, were independent states when the British invaded and colonized them and called their colony "British India". when the British left in 1947, India was born. There was no such thing as British India or India before the British Invasion.

Chanakya is as much Pakistani as Indian Sikhs and Hindus who migrated to India during 1947 are Pakistani today (the older ones were born in Pak too like Chanakya). Are the Mohajirs in Karachi Indian or Pakistani today (they were born in India, the older ones)??

The "Ind" comes from "Indus" as in "Indus" river which is in Pakistan, your people who are natives and indigenous to land far east of the Indus river have little to do with actual "Indus" civilization.
