Would Pakistan give scholarships to Indians?

I just now read that Pakistan is offering scholarships to Afghans in their universities...would Pakistan provide the same in case Indians apply for any courses? I am pondering over sending my sister there should it give any such facilities to Indians.

There is an international scholarship program of various Pakistani Universities. As per my info the Govt run uni give scholarships to the students of war torn countries like Sudan, Somalia, Palestine, Afghanistan etc. But some elite universities like NUST, LUMS, NED, King Edward Medicle College, Agha Khan Uni etc has been offering open scholarships also. But it all depends upon in what field our sister wana go.It wud be more helpful if U go thru the student exchange program of India with Pakistan. It wud be more helpful.Good Luck.

Would she be singled out for being a Hindu and Indian? Do universities have good security(if they provide accommodation) ?

PS : She can't understand Urdu... do professors speak good English?or do they speak like the journos in your news channels?

No,there are two hindu girls who studied in our department.One of them has got her qualification and other one is in progress.

Sure,you won't be having any problem.No one will ask you for being hindu or Indian.Your sister is most welcome to opt and to earn high grades.

Afghans have been offered scholarships since last 3 to 4 decades. However some scholarships are offered under saarc fellowship program to all saarc countries.
