First of all there is no ragging concept with girls' as like is with boys here. Secondly as there are many foreign students who really do not understand Urdu so yeah English is the main source of communication. Thirdly it all depends upon which uni are U looking to join. Let me assure U that if there is a guy called professor here then good English aint a problem. Not only local qualified but lots of Foreign qualified Professors esp from Europe are here in abundance (Thanks to Pervaiz Mushrraf who had sent thousand of scholars abroad on HEC scholarship and may batches are back teaching in different unis).

There are biases. I agree. The idea would be for both Pakistan and India to work and eliminate hindu/muslim hatred in their minds and hearts.My cousins have at times complained of teachers being too staunchly hindu in lucknow. I am sure the problem exists in karachi and other pakistani cities as well. For example there were a few articles of hindus being abused for their faith in schools though I believe universities and colleges have more liberal professors.

However I have noticed the top universities to have fewer biases. LUMS and University of Punjab would be good options for @dravidianhero's sister.

Sindh has highest hindu population and from what iknow many of those hindus are students at good colleges and universities with hardly any racism or hatred. Ppl iknow from sindh toldthat

Admitting a problem that exists in society is not treason, but a service to the nation as by pointing out the problems we identify the first step to eliminating them-if we aren't even willing to admit our problems how will we solve our issues? The Hindus of Pakistan are rich ad economically superior to their muslim counterparts. This however does not mean they suffer no bias. This applies also to the muslims of India where the problem is a little different. The muslims of Indian occupied regions are backward, illiterate, unemployed and earning less than the average hindu.

@t dravidian heros question, well I have never met an Indian in Pakistan so it is difficult for me to gauge the reaction to one in one of our cities.

I am the last to deny problems. They do suffer but in rural settings but not in urban areas and idont think at educational institutes.

Bhai accepting problem is best but first atleast identify it correctly n spot where it exists than randomly pinning it anywhere where it doesnt fit but just cuz one has to fit it in somewhere.

Of this thread, I have good opinion since some good things came out whatever the intention was and regardless of what someone did in past. Its somewhat hard time to believe..didn't your cricketer shehzad ask dilshan to convert to Islam...wasn''t Mohammad yoususf made Muslim?I saw people displaying placards in stadium praising his conversion when he converted.maybe such incidents are sporadic but even then outsiders get the idea that people over there see everything through religious lens.
