World's best assault rifle

.
The AUG was going to become the standard rifle of the Saudi Military, but it failed miserably in trials and in combat tests, so the focus shifted to the G-36. The G-36 proved to be effective in light skirmish situations, and the main users of it the border guards cite it for its accuracy over their previous Standard Assault Rifle the AKM.

Currently the Standard Assault Rifle of the Saudi Military is the AK-74M while Al-Kharj Light Weapons finishes its teased R&D assault rifle project.

What about G3s you guys produced (if im not wrong),

During sustained combat operations the AUG's plastic components would melt increasing the frequency of Type 2 Jamming considerably. And also the soldiers complained that the clip easily breaks during heavy duty handling, like quickly climbing a mountain etc.

While the soldiers enjoyed its accuracy they complained that each time before firing they have to zero it again. Creating a hassle in long range Fire fights. The land forces made a 160 papers review on the AUG performance and termed it "unsatisfactory".

Incorrect man, there are plenty of types and no specifically labelled 'main types'. What about 7.62x39 and 7.62x51? They're really common too. It'd be wrong to say that three or four of these are 'main'.

I have used AK-47 when I was a kid.

In Academy, we were trained with M4A1, H&K-33E and G3A7. I think the best one would be M4A1. Very accurate rifle. Easy to handle, especially if you're on a boat.

Not heard good things (from people who know about these things) about the QBZ-95 at all.

For me it has to be the Tavor- ergonomic, (relatively) lightweight, VERY accurate, easy to maintain, VERY reliable (one of the few rifles, let alone bullpups with "over the beach" capability) and compact.
