They are protesting because they want to be with their respective spouse, it is as simple as this can they sacrifice for their comfort for their love. And by the way isn't it the norm in our society the woman should live with her husband.

They want to be with their spouses in Pakistan and want them to be granted citizenship. But people here are very arrogantly suggesting them to go live Afghanistan if they want to be with them. How is that a solution? I would care less if no Pakistani was involved in this situation but these women and children are Pakistani and for that reason alone we need to make exception for their spouses.

You don't need to denounce your nationality, you can be a dual national. Secondly, if Afghanistan was a super progressive country and a secure place to move to, the women could move there all they want. But thats not the case unfortunately. We can't go with hypothetical situations, there's people's lives at stake.

People move to the US from mexico all the time and get married to get legal stay, doesn't matter if its a guy coming over or a girl, so why should it be different in our situation? Afghanistan has no future for the children of Pakistan, this is not even that difficult to comprehend.

The people who are so insensitive to the sufferings of these families are pathological hypocrites. What's the difference between these guys and Donald Trump?

They are championing the deportation of these guys but I think they shouldn't cry when KSA and others deny Pakistanis any rights even after marrying their citizens.
But the fact remains such the same people stand in long queues outside the western embassies to get visa or pay agents total earnings of life time to the agents, get into containers and boats to reach Europe and enter illegally, and then polish their boots and eat trash for years to get legal documents, do paper marriages to get their citizenship...what a dichotomy...shame on such creatures

Yes people's lives are at stake and for the first time in decades State of Pakistan has started valuing their own citizens. Rest decades of love could only bring us their hatred and enmity well what can I say............ I was foolish back then now I value my own life.

The children born to Afghans are not Pakistani you know this too.

But their Husband aren't Pakistani. If Government will give them permit many thousands of Afghans will marry Pakistani women to stay here in Pakistan permanently.

Their are thousands if not millions of Asians (men and women),like me,who married locally or brought their spouse's over and got permission /nationality of the residing countries in Europe.We should learn and behave humanly from such examples .

Its tradition but not law technically a woman can stay where ever she wants after marriage she is not under amy obligation legally so that argumemt cannot be used to deport Pakistani cnic holding women

Either Pakistan should have banned the marriages with Afghans when they were living and earning in Pakistan for more than 30 years without any idea that they would be expelled, or Pakistan should now allow them to settle here after they have married Pakistanis.

And this is not about Afghani men only. Why isn't Pakistan sending the Afghani women married to Pakistani men back to Afghanistan? Because we can't take the women away from Pakistani men fearing this action could jeopardize the safety and security of our law enforcement officials?

A permanent resident visa should be introduced for Afghanis who have married Pakistanis with full work rights, whether we decide not to grant them Pakistani nationality. This visa should be valid till the marriage lasts. In case of divorce, the visa should be cancelled and Afghanis should be sent back.

Children of these couples should be given nationality at birth as well.

First we allowed them to marry and register their marriages in Pakistan and now we are sending them back. This is really condemnable decision.

If UK does not have blasphemy laws does that bothers Pakistanis to seek asylum there, get education, and work?. They even try their utmost to get UK citizenship even if they have to show their allegiance to the Queen and not shariah
