Woman eaten by pigs after fainting and suffering seizure on Russian farm

A woman was eaten by pigs after collapsing in their sty.

The 56-year-old was feeding the animals, in the Central Russian region of Udmurtia, when she suffered a seizure and fainted.

The woman's husband had gone searching for his wife after realising she was missing, the BBC reported.

He later found her body in the pig pen on the couple's farm in the city of Kazan.

The unnamed woman reportedly died from massive blood loss.

A spokesman for the regional Investigative Committee said it was working to determine the exact circumstances behind the tragedy.

"The opinion of forensic experts has been requested in this case," he said.

Pig meat is prepared properly is just as clean as any other.

It still carries diseases & germs inside of it, no matter prepared in what way. Anything that eats filth will have filth inside its meat. Simple reasoning.

It also doesn't filter it's food like beef does before converting it to meat & fat, meaning that everything from its skin till bones will be harmful for humans.

I have eaten plenty of pig and am healthy. Our body is to some degree designed to ingest some microorganisms. Otherwise everytime I ate ham or bacon I would be violently ill.
