Nonsense. Vietnam had no own army at the time, was defended by the French army. But the French lost the will of fighting when France surrendered to Germany. So they surrendered to Japan in September 1940.

The Vietnamese people’s army was founded much later, in December 1944.
Shouldn't say such things.
Others might mistaken that Vietnamese cannot organize civilian uprising or civilian resistance, but had to learn from the Chinese.
Such statements will also reinforce the idea that the Vietnamese beat off the French and the Americans ONLY because of aid and leadership assistance from the Chinese.

In fact that idea did cross my mind after reading your post.

Singapore civilians though would rather be independent, but nevertheless fought ferociously against the invading BARBARIC Japanese and was subsequently ruthlessly massacred after the fall of Singapore due in large part to the BETRAYAL by the TREASONOUS DOUBLE HEADED SNAKES, the LOW MUSCLE MASS COWARDLY WEAKLING British Indian Soldiers.

Cheers.
Hope my post does not cause you any discomfort, for that I apologise.

France with the most powerful land army on Western Europe continent, second powerful navy after the UK, needed almost 30 years to conquer Vietnam from the first attack on the city of Danang, 1857, to final assault on Saigon, 1884.

In the 1940s Vietnam was under brutal French occupation, no army.

There was resistance movement that led later to the founding of VPA.

Photo taken on April 4, 2019 shows a scene of a cemetery for Chinese martyrs in Vietnam's northern province of Thai Nguyen. Here in a cemetery in Linh Son commune, Thai Nguyen city, Thai Nguyen province, about 80 km from downtown Hanoi, Vietnam, 139 Chinese martyrs lay resting in eternal peace. (Xinhua/Wang Di)

In the latter part of the 20th century, upon the request of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vietnamese people, more than 320,000 Chinese troops joined Vietnamese people in their fight defending the country's independence.
After the war, more than 1,400 Chinese martyrs who fell down in the fighting were laid to rest in 40 cemeteries in 19 provinces across Vietnam.
"Those fallen heroes sacrificed themselves here in Vietnam for our country's independence, for the world peace. Taking care of their tombs is a way we show our appreciation and respect for what they did," said Vu Xuan Hung, vice chairman of the People's Committee of Linh Son commune.

Did Vietnamese form their own guerrilla soon after the Japanese ocuppation? HK people had no army of their own at that time too, but after the Colonial gov't surrendered we formed our own to against the Imperial Japan. The point is this is our land, we defend it ourselves. However, I remain open minded since Vietnamese do not look like the people would welcome the Japanese to occupy their land freely.
I saw your other comments later that anwser my question. Thx.

1. WRONG. Vietnam can only be a part of the world's factory because China will still be the world's largest factory, with the largest supply chain, latest technologies, rtest people by far. Those low-class manufacturing based on cheap labor are purposely moved out by the higher wage in China. It's not because Vietnam can produce better LOL. Those dirty factories are good in Vietnam anyway. Hope you enjoy the pollution!

Fun fact: Anyone can build factories, but not anyone can have the world's largest middle class. China's middle class in 400 million people. That's 4 times the population of Vietnam. Part of the reason why China can have the largest and most efficient supply chain is that there is a HUGE domestic market to support it. Export counts for about 20% of Chinese GDP. That means 80% of it comes from the domestic market.

2. Just because a country invests internationally doesn't mean they are "fleeing" it's called diversification.

I hope I'm not being too technical for you. :(
1. Its just 10% tariff now, but CN debt is alredy too big now ( CN Out of the $244 trillion, government debt was tallied at $65.2 trillion, non-financial corporate debt stood at $72.9 trillion dollars and financial sector debt was $60 trillion dollars, while households owe $46.1 trillion dollars). So wt 25% tariff, then No hight tech CN companies can survive. They have no choice but keep fleeing to VN.

2. CN investors only invest in VN when they cant find any better place cos Vnese treat them so bad. They dont know when we burn they factories again, but at least they still can run bussiness while they will go broke in CN when tariff is 25+++%

So, VN will replace CN when tariff is 25%. U can keep blah blah blah No one care cos tariff is just 10% now .

Stop posting nonsense pls, u will see what will happen when tairff is 25 +++%.

Vietnam can provide foods surpluses to the rich countries at cheap cost. Quality is everything. Win win. I today found this in one of Germany’s largest supermarket chains. Interesting.
a small pack of Dim sum for 2,79 euro from VN. So $3 something. Such a small pack probably costs less than 50 cent in VN, but here Germany it is sold as if it is gold :D

5 seconds on the internet show that "Vietasia China" is a British brand making fake "Chinese" products for people who want to experience "Chinese" food but can't afford authentic food.

5 seconds on the internet show that this supermarket is a cheap discounter called "Lidl" for people who cant afford regular stores. Low quality in exchange for lower prices.

Same as most other places price labels are usually bright white or yellow in large stores. A red label usually means a discount is in place or its part of a promotional campaign. This often just a way to sell unbought and leftovers items long overdue in the shelves or warehouses or sell discounted purchases that other vendors failed or refused to buy for various other reasons that are not part of the usual product assortment.

5 seconds on the internet show that the original price of that product was 2,99 Euro in the same store, so you are holding a discounted discounter product in your hands.

5 seconds on the internet show that 2,79 Euro will get you 4-6 bottles of plain water in Germany or 6-10 at discounter prices. Not exactly a dinner of Saudi extravagance.

0.5 seconds looking at the picture shows that this is processed food. You are bragging about frozen junk food made in Vietnam.

Congratulations. You are the poor mans fake China.
