Will Vietnam become the next ‘world’s factory’ as production moves away from China?

5 seconds on the internet show that "Vietasia China" is a British brand making fake "Chinese" products for people who want to experience "Chinese" food but can't afford authentic food.

5 seconds on the internet show that this supermarket is a cheap discounter called "Lidl" for people who cant afford regular stores. Low quality in exchange for lower prices.

Same as most other places price labels are usually bright white or yellow in large stores. A red label usually means a discount is in place or its part of a promotional campaign. This often just a way to sell unbought and leftovers items long overdue in the shelves or warehouses or sell discounted purchases that other vendors failed or refused to buy for various other reasons that are not part of the usual product assortment.

5 seconds on the internet show that the original price of that product was 2,99 Euro in the same store, so you are holding a discounted discounter product in your hands.

5 seconds on the internet show that 2,79 Euro will get you 4-6 bottles of plain water in Germany or 6-10 at discounter prices. Not exactly a dinner of Saudi extravagance.

0.5 seconds looking at the picture shows that this is processed food. You are bragging about frozen junk food made in Vietnam.

Congratulations. You are the poor mans fake China.
You are clueless. What are chinese authentic foods? There is no such thing in Germany. Same no authentic Viet foods. Food discount supermarkets dominate Germany with over 50 percent market share. 96 percent of Germans buy in these Lidl, Aldi, Netto, Penny etc supermarkets. They offer the same products as other regular supermarkets. So if 96 percent of German citizens buy in those markets they are poor according to your logic.

Yes in terms of sales. How does that contradict anything I said? The people accounting for those 50% would obviously in general prefer the normal retailers. Or neither of these and buy from specialized stores or artisans or just go eating out and have a real Chinese dinner, not some reheated frozen immitation junk from Vietnam with Chinese written on the top. But guess why they can't. The point I made.

96 percent of Germans buy in these Lidl, Aldi, Netto, Penny etc supermarkets.
I buy bottled drinks even in cheap corner shops every once in a while too when Im just around. That's not exactly the same as poorer people relying or opting in on them due to lower prices and buying cheap fake "Chinese" processed junkfood from the freezer, because they can't afford some fresh prepared ones from a refrigator at the normal retailer, leave alone a specialized store, costing twice or trice as much or eating out, in their living budget. Or what argument are you trying to make here with that meaningless number?

They offer the same products as other regular supermarkets.
Thats just a laughable dumb point. The entire concept of German "discounters" is selling cheaper stuff by cutting corners at every place including quality. It's literally in the name even if its a pseudo English term. There may be a handfull or a dozen out of several hundreds of different products that can be found in the sortiments of both retailers and discounters because they are hot takes or sell at high margins, but otherwise its not "the same".

5 seconds on the internet can confirm they do not have the "same" sortiment even if you are clueless enough to believe that. Maybe you should spend more time on the fresh air in Germany than trolling and deluding yourself about some reemergence of a Vietnamese empire on this forum when any tourist after the first day of arrival could explain you the country you are squatting in better than yourself.

So if 96 percent of German citizens buy in those markets they are poor according to your logic.
No thats just your strawman logic.

I said you are holding cheap fake Chinese junkfood from a discounter that wasn't even made in China and apparently no one wanted to buy in your hands and while bragging about "gold" standard prices or "high quality", hoping no one would notice and check the dishonest bullshit you try to pull off here.

who are you? God?
If we are Mexico, you are Congo!
Heh ignorant idiots like you think Vietnam can ever be greater than China. I'm actually being very generous with you idiots, since Mexico is roughly 5 times the current size of Vietnamese economy. Just FYI in case you don't realize, our GDP per capita is 4 times that of yours. If we were anywhere similar to Congo, you'd be shit eating monkeys below absolute poverty line.

Mexico is your best case scenario. Afghanistan is what you're realistically looking at given your grandiose sense of self worth. Know your place in the world and keep your unrealistic ambition in check.

What’s the difference if you buy Cola at „regular“ supermarkets and Lidl?

Do you think Lidl water down Cola before selling?

Lol at chinese authentic foods! There is no such a thing. Only a handful chinese restaurants offer such luxury where few Chinese and Vietnamese customers pay visit with rarely Germans come to eat. Most Germans eat at common so called chinese restaurants either owned by Chinese or Vietnamese. Today most resto are owned and operated by Vietnamese. Much to nails salons and small Asia supermarkets.

If you operate authentic restaurants offering authentic Viet or Chinese, no German customer will come.

The foods are westernized versions developed over decades.

discount markets are booming. Germans love discounts. But there is no compromise on quality. Thinking foods at Lidl has low quality insults 96 percent of German population.

Foods are sold cheaper because discount supermarkets offer little to no customer services.

Sure, as Chinese aka rich you can certainly visit a regular air conditioned supermarket. a service will assist you when buying a pack of Coca Cola.

If its the same brand of Cola the difference is usually lower quality bottles at a "discounter". If its a different brand the entire product, cheaper or better ingredients, packaging and so on.
Whats the relevance of these exceptions from the rule of otherwise completely different product sortiments? Exceptions in otherwise completely different product sortiments, which as said before can be easily confirmed just checking it up 5 seconds on the internet. I sense its just a strawman to deflect from your lies, but maybe you just fail to articulate your argument here?

Do you think Lidl water down Cola before selling?
As a matter of fact they literally do water it down.Maybe spend 5 seconds more on your points before ranting clueless stuff just for the sake of disagreeing. Cheap "Cola" brands i.e. not "the" Coca Cola brand often just add more of the cheapest ingredient aka water into the concentrate and cut corners on sugar, natural ingredients in favour of synthetic ones and so on. Again they also often have thinner and less sturdy bottles. And those are the default products at these "discounters" for obvious reasons.

Lol at this wall of nonsense. "There is no such thing, but yes there is", "Only a handfull of restaurants offer such luxury". Well so I'm right, but you just want to disagree and just keep flayling with irrelevant points not contradicting or even supporting what I said?

If you operate authentic restaurants offering authentic Viet or Chinese, no German customer will come.
Simply wrong. Fewer will come. But foremost due to the same reason few will decide to pick up frozen reheated crappy Vietnamese dumplings in a cheap shop in first place, because its not custom to the local diet.
Yet that changes nothing on the fact that you were holding cheap junkfood in the hands that is foremost cheap because its cheaply made and served junkfood, where if money wasnt an issue anyone would obviously prefer some fresh handmade made ones from a kitchen chief.

discount markets are booming.
So are no-go zones, slums and homeless centers all over central Europe.
Again, That doesn't contradict the fact I pointed out about the cheap frozen price slashed fake Made in Vietnam "Chinese" junk food you where bragging about like you where holding Safran and Truffels in your hands.

But there is no compromise on quality.
Just wrong.

Thinking foods at Lidl has low quality insults 96 percent of German population.
That is again just your dumb missconstrueing and oversimplifying spin you keep strawmanning with because you dont want to admit the truth. I refer to the previous post where I addressed it already.

Foods are sold cheaper because discount supermarkets offer little to no customer services.
Thats just one factor and supermarkets in Central Europe hardly focus on customer services in first place. The dedicing and very facetious factor is the one you keep denying, even when you have to be blind and lack any common sense to do so without malice.

You can try this shit with Vietnam. No one besides Viets really knows or can tell what is going on in that place even if they visited once and successfully managed to escape. You can't do that with countries like Germany that fit their airports with Chinese plaques and speakers due to the massive amounts of visitors, business and cultural exchange with Asia and especially China.

Nonsense. You know too little of Europe. The French, the Italian pay more important on food than the Germans. For Germans, food should be cheap. The Japanese pay huge amount on food. That’s unthinkable here.

Expecting Germans know to eat chinese authentic food is too much. First it is too expensive. Do you know the price of a roasted Beijing duck here? Sure, if considering high personal incomes that duck is peanuts but only few customers will visit such places with original Chinese foods.

Or do you expect the Germans to eat fresh pig’s brain, an authentic delicacy, that is on display in a chinese restaurant on my way to the office?

History is evident of what tiny snake has done to Paper dragon.

How chinese fought with Japanese is a well documented story and what Japanese did to them in Nanking.
@waz This member is retarded. Please do what needs to be done.

Wait so you are saying Germans are being cheap? Weren't you strawmanning the whole time how Im "insulting" Germans by pointing out the fact you where in a low budget store holding low priced food in your hands? Quite opposite to your bragging about frozen junkfood you found in a low budget store because it was Made in Vietnam.

So I am right or what are you trying to say?

Nonsense. You know too little of Europe.
That goes straight back to the shut in Viet squatting in Germany and acting like hes holding premium priced food in his hands while posting a picture of cheap frozen "Chinese" junkfood Made in Vietnam in a low budget store and unironically gloating about a "gold" price of 2.70 Euros. Now go back filling up cupnoodles in your dads corner store.

You are angry because VN sells chinese foods to supermarkets in Germany? bro three is no reason to be upset. Why not looking from tgis way: we assist you in spreading China civilization to the Western world.

German people don’t emphasize too much on foods. They rather spend more money in cars, houses and vacation. Foods prices here are ways much cheaper than let’s say in France and Italy. Germany makes foods as chickens, porks etc like making cars. Mass production makes everything cheaper.

. .
What an idiot comment. You guys are abusing Vietnamees here and when I draw your attention to your history, you start crying.
That tye typical of Cnese 50cent warriors, they insult everyone on internet, but when ppl strike back, they keep crying to Mod.

But in real life, No one care when they cry loudly. Just like in 2014 VN-CN conflict, thousand Cnese were beaten, Cnese cried loudly on internet, but CN Govt.didnt care and refuse to show the number of the dead and wounded .

Even CN govt also dont give a dam care to them, 2014 conflict show that. So sad , but True

What you mean “know your place”?
are you suffering brain damage or something similar? You can stick your gdp into your azz.

So now that you realized you dug your own grave with your lies you just start projecting your frustration?

No contradiction to see here. More flayling with irrelevant points.

Even if it were relevant, the point your are trying to make about prices is not determined by prices alone, but also disposeable income and the difference is neglieble. German households spend 12% of their budget on groceries. French 13%. You point is moot either way.

Also I was the one who compared the price to other German products. It was you who tried to compare it to Vietnamese product prices to make an invalid comparison. You dont have to tell me to consider the context. And what does "your logic" say about Vietnam then?
