After S-400 purchase, I highly doubt that you can't normalize Russia-Turkish relations!!

As far as China is concerned, it is better to resolve your differences, which frankly I am unaware of, because this century belongs to China, better to realign yourself!

Plus if I am not wrong, Isn't the origin country of F-35's the same which is supporting Kurds against Turkey! Good luck being dependent on US weapons in case of a full blown war against US's allies/Turks enemies.

Agreed! But it is better to have a lesser capable gun with lots of bullets than one excellent gun with no bullets supply guaranteed!
Turkey and Russia have conflicting interests on pretty much everything dont let yourself fooled by the temporary cooperation, things might change very fast just compare 2016 to 2017.

China on the other hand is very far away, Turkey changing camps will have consequences regarding Europe in one way or another Turkish economy is interconnected with European continent something like removing Turkey from customs union would be desastrous and i dont think China can compensate that given the fact Turkey has already a great trade deficit with China which would probably get only worse.
And then we would have a Turkey thats dependant on China and Russia instead of West, what gain would Turkey get from this?

.
We are still (try) using Turkey as a bulwark against the east since decades . So it’s understandable that Turkey has a negativity against east countries.

It isnt just prejudice. Eastern countries are no better than west when its comes to politics. For Russia too the allies are merely tools for their own profit. In fact they may have been treating them even more inhumane than US.

Your country, your choice. My brother, the ideal situation is to be self sufficient in country's defence needs. Turkey is going in the right direction but considering western countries as reliable allies would be faulty.

I mentioned Russia/China... they both have stood by India/Pakistan through thick and thin. We Pakistanis haven't had pleasant experiences with USA, so the natural skepticism when relying on US weapons! I do understand you have differences with Russia/China, they are not the ideal solution but I consider eastern alliances "relatively" more reliable than Nato countries. Turkey might have had different experiences thus different approach, but my country's experiences tell the quite opposite.

Ideal:- Be self reliant
2nd Best:- Russia/China
3rd Option:- USA/Western suppliers

Its not that western weapons are qualitatively bad, they are the best, its the geo political web associated with them which is the problem.

Anyways all the best to my Turkish brothers and may you excel in every field of life whatever path you decide to chose!

Both Japan and Korea earns hell lot from China, you can learn some experience form them.

I suggest Turkey to stand in the middle.

Unfortunately China is still way dependent on dollar. In this equation, obviously Turkey would choose to camp with Americans. Having zero ideological problems with US, no problem with Israelis, they would choose USA over China at any moment. It's logical.

Turkey has zero ideological problem with USA and Israelis? Can't be!

Lol its israel itself try to prevent F-35 deal
NATO membership proves my point. Anyway, Turkey has open hands compared to US enemies in economy.

F 35 problem looks a bit different, Israel wants it for itself. The only operator of mid East, maybe

Some of the Turkey members tells me that western block will fully endorse Greece in those Islands dispute if Turkey quit NATO.

I think partial Tuekey is kidnapped by the west, cause their culture is originated from the East.
Turkey had hundreds years of war with Russia in the history, so the mis-trust is deeply embeded.
As to China, we are far away from Turkey and has no concrete conflict with Turkey in any aspect. Except for some rumors that China persecutes Uyghers.

Turkey shall be smart enough not to make too many enemies at one time.
There are two goal of Erdogan:
1: to be the leader of Muslim world
2: to be the leader of Turkic world.
But too much ambition might hurt and bounce back.

If USA didn't try to assassinate Erdogan by instigating the Guelen movement within goverment and army, the relationship should be good until now.

. . .
Second Turkish F-35 made its first flight last week on Thursday.
