That is right. Now India is post-super power because that was over 4 years ago. Now there are no more terms that can describe how rich and powerful India is. Maybe they are now a 'Planetary Powa'.
Galatic power perhaps...

No, that is at 2020. By then India will be a galactic hyper-power. Modi already used the phrase 'may the force be with you' in that speech where he was standing with Hugh Jackman. It's on youtube. So I guess India is already planning to put Modi forward as its first Jedi Knight.
LOL... Meanwhile, I think Shanghai will be a humble global commercial center...
Breathtaking. The blistering speed at which China has developed over the last twenty odd years is simply awe-inspiring.
This thread need a sewage line
According to the Indian President Kalam, India was a superpower in 2012.
And since China is still a developing country, that means India is decades ahead of us.
In fact it seems likely that China will never be a superpower (global hegemon) so maybe they are even centuries/millenia ahead of us.
Doesn't matter to me though, as long as China is continuing to develop I will be happy enough.
India has no class.
Only loose talk!
Because I find the culture and mentality fascinating.
That would explain a lot... I wasn't aware the Indians know they are decades behind China... I thought the Indians believe they are only five years behind at most.
To be fair, it's the politicians and media that are trying to fool the Indian public into believing these grandiose and unrealistic claims. Indians who have travelled abroad don't believe this nonsense. But the trouble is that very few Indians have had the chance to travel abroad. The vast majority of the population who never had a chance to see the world simply don't know better, so they believe whatever politicians and the media tell them.
A big no no, like I said, they thought they are ahead, it will take Shanghai 20 years to catch up with Mumbai
Lol is this a joke or sarcasm?
Well, China might have to demolish Shanghai to achieve that...
16 to 25 million Indians living abroad is nothing compared to India's large population of over 1.2 billion people. Many tens of millions more Indians need to travel the world to realize how they have been lied to by the media and politicians.
