East Asia stretches from Myanmar to Japan. If you mean integrate like in EU then I say in another decade it is possible.
We still need many years of integration before talking about union.
It is quite likely when China is powerful enough to lead the east Asia and southeast Asia..
Maybe 20 years..
Of course not!
We taught them everything they know, not everything we know
EU countries hold the same ideology .
No way in Asia countries.
Absolutely. Americans were so generous to give the knowledge to Japan via a Top-Secret Mission.
The Americans have already developed a technology to infiltrate human minds, and alter it.
Using the technology, they transferred technologies and processes like Carbon tubes, Robotics, Maglevs etc. into Japanese minds.
America does it so that other countries don't get to know its actual strength.
Heck! The biggest top secret is that even Anime has been created by Americans, and secretly transferred. Because Americans can't take the credit for everything cool.
Ain't it? @Nihonjin1051
America is an ally. So was England in the early 20th century. The moment America no longer serves our interest Japan will move on to the next strategic partner.
A Union in East Asia is the end goal. A security apparatus that combines the JSDF, the PLA and the ROKAF (and possibly the DPRKAF when Pyongyang is brought to heel ) can weather any threat , regionally and internationally.
Not Myanmar, that country is alien to East Asia. Totally different race of people, totally different culture, different society. Southeast Asia is not East Asia.
It can be done but there needs to be immense political capital, and agreement in public.
The biggest thing is that there should be trust.
Japan's problem is that it holds the card to the Great East Asian reckoning. You will have to apologize guys, or else Korea and China will always look for revenge, and squaring off.
China will have to give up its ambition to form an East Asian hegemony, and start living with its partners.
Korea will have to give up its almost militaristic sense of self-identity. It will have to be assured that it won't cease to exist, if it stops playing up its difference to China and Japan.

Will East Asia integrate ? Yes? No ? Let us discuss.
I disagree. Perhaps not in our lifetime. But it will happen eventually.
South Korea needs to move its capital further south and then finnish off the Fat pig in the north who is blocking the sun.
Too hard and sadly, the South Koreans seem uninterested in feeding their northern brothers and sisters and drastically dropping their standard of living to accomodate/uplift their Northern bretheren.
History proves that this period of division is but temporary. The same for Korea. Remember that during the Warrinf states period in Korea, the states is koguryo, shillae and pekjae were eventually united under King Wan Kon , then later under King Sejong of Jeosong. Even if it took a century or so to happen, the fragmented pierces eventually formed a whole. This is a trait for us East Asians. Be it Japan's Sengoku Jidai or China's own ZHANGUO SHIDAI. Eventually, order and Union will happen.
