WikiLeaks: Sonia wanted to ban Bajrang Dal

That was good decision, why She haven't implemented it yet?

:sigh: Those people who use violence as a tool to implement their own warped philosophy on others, be it Bajrang Dal goons beating up couples on Marine Drive or that guy named Haji Yakoob Qureshi who offered a bounty on head of Rushdie or that Christian Priest who called for the murder of Dan Brown. If these individuals belong to an organisation or a group then that group needs to be banned.

....?

That is pretty much what I said in the previous post. But say we go ahead and ban Bajrang Dal, how exactly are you going to handle the Haji and the Christian priest? Ban Islam and Christianity from India?

and ergo anarchy mere yaara...no one governing, no real power to state institutions over fools running amok harming the nation.

Ergo pretty good example of anarchy at the moment- till you come to power and clean it all up...OR..OR..OR HYPE DOES IT!!

The power is there & so is governance, the problem is that those charged with it are doing a pretty bad job of it....thats hardly anarchism...its bad governance. The State Institutions on the other hand have performed as well as anyone could in such an asymmetric situation but thats the nature of things.

So when are you clearing it up...kal vote dal raha hai? I say you should join PTI, become a leader..then I can bribe you with food and get favors. :yay:

Does Bajrang Dal represent Hinduism or Hindus?

It doesn't. However, some of the rabid elements of the other religions can be traced back to a specific Mullah, mosque, missionary etc. which represent a hive mind and not separate schools of thought that can be dissected. How would the government proceed in such cases?

Isn't that why everyone's in agreement on banning Bajrang Dal? Because the government can get away with it with minimum backlash?

they are just indian version of taliban.............

We have 2 versions of Taliban in India. One is Bajrang Dal, and the other is the Teesta Setalvad brand of Taliban.

Sonia supports only one of these Talibans overtly, although the other Taliban are also useful to demonize Indic traditions and energize the vote bank. So they may well be getting support covertly.

The contrast with NaMo could not be more striking. Congress depends dividing society with both Talibans, whereas NaMo brooks no nonsense from either variety.

Cong silent on cadres linked to Guj riots
Rajesh Ramachandran, TNN Aug 9, 2003, 11.50pm IST

NEW DELHI: The Congress has been going to town over Best Bakery and other instances of the Narendra Modi government's complicity in the anti-Muslim violence which shook Gujarat last year.

But when it comes to the involvement of its own party cadre in the killings, 10 Janpath maintains a deafening silence. Even when confronted by a long-standing ally from the freedom movement days, the Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind.

According to the JUH, "most Congress corporators" and some Congress leaders of Gujarat had actively participated in last year's riots. ...

Mangalore, Mar 19: In connection with indulging in rampage in a banana plantation belonging to Babbukatte Nityadhar Church and trying to disrupt peace in the region, Ullal policemen arrested seven persons on Wednesday March 18.

They are Jayson Verghese (23), Vijit Sunny Rozario (21), Araki Alfred (20), Roshan Cutinho (26), all from Nityadhar Nagar and Ronald Roshan (22), a resident of Kuttar Prakash Nagar. They were produced in the court on Wednesday.

On Monday morning, the banana plantation was found to have been damaged heavily to look as if people belonging to a particular community had barged into the plantation, and a saffron flag had been planted there, signifying that Hindu outfits had been involved with the destruction. The incident took place at a time when Hindu Samajotsav was being organized in the city.

The policemen said that during interrogation, the arrested persons revealed, they wanted to disturb the peace in the region by projecting the incident as a handiwork of a particular community.

While making inquiries about those who inflicted the above damage, the policemen could by chance, lay their hands on the two accused, who had burnt down a motor bike on November 30 near Pandit House. Joy D'Souza (20) and Calvin Johnson D'Souza, from Nityadhar Nagar, accused of this act, were arrested and produced in the court on Wednesday. The policemen are also looking at the possibility of these two having been also involved with the destruction of the banana plantation.

Under the guidance of the city rural inspector Lingappa Poojary, Ullal sub-inspector of police Shivprakash has been conducting investigation.

There is no such thing as Forced COnversions in India with regard to Christians. That blame falls to only one particular religion which I wil omit but you all know. Anyhow, Christians in India for a long time have been able to live peacefully in India. The problem is the Vatican and the Pente's who engage in converting ppl by any means necessary, usually by spreading $$$. Pente's and the Vatican are the biggest threat to India if left unchecked. People don;t realize but Christians in India were under the Middle Eastern Church. The Vatican only came into play after forcing and killing ppl to accept their hegemony. There has been no apology or mention of that.

I would attribute such activities to pentecostal churches than catholics.

Some guys here think that being a Christian means we are loyal to Rome and Vatican only :disagree:

These people do not know that, many Christians here in India do not agree with the Vatican power over them and their own heads here in India..

Considering these guys, those Taliban supporting Pakistanis are much better to deal with..

Yeah but the Churchs and priests are mostly under the Vatican authority. Only Jacobite and Orthodox aren't directly.

Orthodox, Jacobite, CSI, Marthoma etc were never being under Vatican directly or indirectly. Orthodox and Marthomite head quarters are here in Kerala.. One in Kottayam and other in Thiruvalla..
