I used to have a lot of respect and brotherly affinity with the Turkish people, especially their military; but after reading some of their responses here, I must say.............. nevermind.

The only nation that really deserves to proclaim itself to be a 'Muslim' nation is Iran.

Relax and welcome to the bleak reality known as the 'real world', my friend. Turkey is not an Islamic country, it is a secular nation. Being an Islamic nation means different things to different people. No one really wants to replace their national identity/cultural heritage with religion. So even other nations in the Muslim world even if they have religious constitution/laws, don't identify as Islamic nations. 'Islamic nations' is generally understood to mean a country with Muslim majority.

I really don't care about the past, as far as I know the Arab revolt didn't even involve Palestinians and was mostly oriented around Hejaz regions, bits of modern day Jordan and Egypt. Whatever the case doesn't matter anymore. That was a previous ethnic dispute over control of historically Arab regions.

People here have a difficult time restraining their emotions and easily flame war each other. So there's no point of having 'Islamic nations' if Muslims can't at the very least wish good for each other and put things behind them. Let alone many other attributes that would require.

What about the Palestinians in refugees camps that are treated like crap in any arab state, and not given same rights? What about the thousands of Palestinians that died in Syria?

Dude, you need to know how international relations work.Turkey has a political framework which is secular, respect it and respect their leaders.They actually were in a much better position to help Palestenians by accepting Israel.They were able to help Palestenians more than Iran , Saudia or Pakistan.I dont want to gointo the details , what im saying is Pakistan can keep its distance from Israel but it would not help the overall reality and suffering of the Palestenian people. Since Turks took up the responsibility and developed an influence in the Israeli state (however little it was) they were in a good position to maneuver support , remember Flotilla?Can Pakistan send a ship with aid the same way, no it cant.
