. . . . . .
May be you did not understand my question.

I gave you the reason why Sindh was not partitioned. Since whole of Sindh unanimously voted to join Pakistan so each and every village and district of Sindh was bound to join Pakistan. Whether it is Muslim majority district or Hindu majority like Umarkot or Thar. All are unquestionable part of Pakistan.

. .
how dare you to ask about a 'credible' link dear its modi-fied era so every thing coming from modi-fied fan club is authentic don't dare to challenge them.

Why would you flee a city in which you are a majority n others are in minority .. :lol:

It would be the other way...

.
:rofl: :rofl: which ironically was ruled by muslim dynasties... :lol: and now a part of Pakistan...:lol:

It was? can you provide a credible link?
Sindh was home to one of the world's oldest civilizations, the Indus Valley civilization from which Indian civilization emerges,it is there lot before the birth of Islam.It was ruled by Rai dynasty before caliph Ummars capture of Sindh.
In response of Caliph Umar's question about the Makran region, the messenger from Makran answered:
'O Commander of the faithful!
It's a land where the plains are stony;
Where water is scanty;
Where the fruits are unsavory;
Where men are known for treachery;
Where plenty is unknown;
Where virtue is held of little account;
And where evil is dominant;
A large army is less for there;
And a less army is use-less there;
The land beyond it, is even worst. [referring to Sind]
Listening this Caliph stopped marching for further and not crossed Indus river.

As for "Caliph Umar" ... when did Umar capture "sindh" .. :lol:

Makran itself is part of Baluchistan... even Karachi was once a part of Baluchistan...

The Sindhi language has pure Sanskrit basis and is closely related to the ancient Prakrit. The province of Sindh has been designated after the river Sindh (Indus) which literally created it and has been also its sole means of sustenance. However, the importance of the river and close phonetical resemblance in nomenclature would make one consider Sindhu as the probable origin of the name of Sindh. Later phonetical changes transformed Sindhu into Hindu in Pahlavi and into Hoddu in Hebrew. The Greeks (who conquered Sindh in 125 BC under the command of the Alexander the great) rendered it into Indos, hence modern Indus from which name india coined.

WHY INDIA WAS PARTITIONED ?
Because Hindus gave way and ran away to safer havens. If every Hindu or Sikh was prepared to fight the Direct Action Day with arms and ready to pay the price in blood - there would have been no partition. In 46, one side succeeded in killing far too many of the other - this pointed out the impossibility of two sides co-existing.

Then in 47, when the Partition truly happened did the Hindus and Sikhs vigorously fight back. (I know it was savage, on both sides) But by then legally it was all over. It was only mindless and ultimately meaningless bloodletting. For Partition to be avoided, Indian Nationalists of all religions should have united and killed or captured all the prominent Muslim League leaders and as many followers as possible. Instead Gandhi made peace tours all over India with speeches like 'Hindus and Sikhs should peacefully die in the hands of Muslim brothers' etc. India was partitioned because Muslim League won. Muslim League won because Congress and the Indians in general surrendered.

I am not being sentimental - this is a very practical and rational POV.

News to me!!!
Ask any Pakistani. Read any book. In 1941, Karachi, the first capital of Pakistan had roughly 53% Hindus, many Parsis, Jews and around 40% Muslims. 6 years later, the Hindu history was a rumor. It never happened.

.
At the time of Partition in 1947, the Hindu population of Pakistan was estimated at approximately a quarter of the total population. For example, the population of Karachi, Pakistan in 1947 was 450,000, of which 51% was Hindu, and 42% was Muslim. By 1951, Karachis population had increased to 1.137 million because of the influx of 600,000 Muslim refugees from India. In 1951, the Muslim population of Karachi was 96% and the Hindu population was 2%.[lx

they (Hindu & Sikh) even though were supporting Congress NEHRU & GANDHI fight (or fight back as so said) but didn't succeed to keep the South Asia as a single political entity ... now the question which you should focused

why they felt (Hindu & Sikh) the need to fight with the 'other people' who at that time were also "BRITISH INDIA CITIZENS" at least on legally grounds... ??

& Why the 'other people' were so committed to their 'New identity' ... ??
