And what reason is that in your opinion?

Phans gaye mere jaal mein!! hahahahaha

You just quoted a reason, that sindh was annexed democratically , same reason for Baluchistan!... Or is there any different reason why Baluchistan is in Pakistan? Annexed forcefully?

How can Muslims of Kanpur join Pakistan when Kanpur doesn't share any geographical link with Pakistan. Again some new fantasy that you guys have?
Those muslims were planning to migrate to Pakistan, my mistake that I used the wrong word.

PS: I personally know several Kanpuri who migrated to Pakistan after the partition.
Shazia Ilmi's father stopped many more from moving to Pakistan, thats what I meant.

Koi nahi phassa. Merai zehan main 1 doosra jo aam taur par bharation kai zehan main hota hai.

As for Baluchistan. Let me teach you about it. It consisted of two regions. One was British Baluchistan which consisted of Quetta and Northern Baluchistan. This british Baluchistan was bound to join Pakistan since it was Muslim majority and wasn't ruled by any Raja or King. The rest of the part was called Kalat state. This kalat state joined Pakistan later peacefully as ist ruler also signed the papers later.

The case of Baluchistan was different from Sindh since there was no assembly and present day Baluchistan province was divided into two regions unlike Sindh.

Main itnai asanai sai phasta munnai. ;)

Ok. Know many who are from Kanpur and migrated here. In fact leaving Kerala I know guys from nearly every state of India. Gujratis, Hyderabadis, Mumbai walas, Dehli walas, Rajistanis, Madrasis, Goa etc etc

Was there any way to keep the BRITISH INDIA UNITED.. ??
It's actually a more general question and not exactly particular to the Indian case.
Muslims are human beings. Just like any of us. You, me all. A population that is unaware of the diktats or are ignorant about mazh'b will live just like anybody else. In a country as diverse as India, praying to a different God personally is no big deal. Putting food on the table is the first priority. But if Islam is the dominant nazariya then self isolation and later demand for secession becomes a natural outcome. This is true to a large extent to any religion that has an we vs them world view.

In India it took time as well. Take Allama Iqbal for example. Was he mistreated? Nope. Was he humiliated? Nope. Discriminated? Not at all. But in 4 years of writing 'Sare Jahan Se Accha' he wrote 'Chin o Arab humara'...you know the rest.

I know many who went to pakistan and returned back.

At that time I would have naively supported him. But in retrospect, it was a big mistake.
Those who followed him were liberals like him. And that should be the reason his son is a member of BJP since long (I'm assuming).

I am yet to see one. :)
Yeah because that generation is dead.
Or do you want me to name the famous ones?

Why would one accept a ruler signing a deal in Baluchistan? That's not democratic for Pakistanis, as they blame India for Kashmir.

If the Hindus of Sindh didn't want to merge with Pakistan, why there was no referendum? Who gave leaders the rights to sign it?
