Why the Af-Pak alliance is crucial and vital

I don't think that it was ever seriously considered. I could be wrong though. The leaders of Afghanistan were against the founding of Pakistan from day one (1947) and from day one denied the legality and validity of the Durand Line.

Anyway we have to be careful with the generalizations but we cannot deny the obvious any longer.

I only know one thing, the last thing that Pakistan needs in its current state, is to merge with a country that is struggling even more (not comparable struggle even) and ruled by even worse leaders.

It is almost as if such thinking was created by people who want the utter and permanent destruction of Pakistan.
Yeah It's a stupid suggestion and wouldn't work because of the common hatred between populations. Afghan hatred towards Indic ethnicities.

Best solution to the Afghan problem is:

-Fortify the border with maximum security and surveillance, but keep cross-border travel easy and efficient for people so it isn't difficult or too disruptive.

-Build facilities which people cross the border for, closer to the border itself - hospitals, markets, etc.

-Deport refugees.

-Consider a buffer-zone if it is possible.

-Carry out covert ops against militant infrastructure. (Happened a few times already now)

But it seems like Afghanistan if it ever gets rebuilt somewhat with some military capabilities, it is going to push for conflict eventually. So there may be another different solution required for Afghanistan...

Only thing which is crucial is how to nuke Afghanistan, and send Godzilla there. There is no nation on Earth that can live peacefully with Afghans, its something in their blood and DNA that force them to bite the hands which feeds them.

If they wanted they would have said it to your face why would they keep that from you.. They have shxt to lose and but that is not there intentions and don't be a fool..

If you wanna know someones thru intention you gotta understand motives and interests etc etc. India wants Pakistan destroyed and gone not the Afghans atleast not today until the LOC issue is handled.

Didn't Abdali answer the call when he was called upon by modern day Multan, Lahore etc etc..

Look I am not Afghan biased or anyone in that matter.. But we have a future date set with India that only GOD knows when and the timing of it but that one is realistic hence we don't have time for other pity nonsense

Honestly, it's sickening reading your posts. You are just too cringe with your simpering, cowardly attitude.

To be clear - you want to partner with Afghanistan, allow free movement, share resources, let them move into your area, take your businesses and marry your women - all because your scared of Sharma-ji on the East?! That's the definition of a cuck.

Not only is it a cowardly plan, it's also stupid. If India invades, what makes you think Afghans won't just fall back to the mountains back home? Afghans are known to abandon territory during war, they win later via insurgency.

I imagine they'd be more than happy to let Indians take Punjab, creating a lucrative target for future looting raids.

The Afghans are indeed valuable and they certainly know how to subdue the Indians and have done it on repeat so many times.

No mergers tho but an alliance like EU union or Turkey-Azerbaijan type of understanding would be great each to his own in internal affairs one ruled by Shariah and the other is democracy but there is common interest aligning somewhere there

The importance of AfPak can't be put into mere words and how important it is stragetically for both entities and specifically at this point in history.

Where both sides have no options but to band together despite even differences will be trumped by their significiance of banding together. The regional threats greatly far outweigh anything else that is locally. There is even a great potential of Af-Pak emerging into a superpower down the road and that Superpower will only come to play if China was to hesitate from moving on India but AfPak won't hesitate to re-write history as it is and they say fortune favors the bold which means China may wane as a superpower due to it's lack of moving on India when it matters most but I see in a world where Afpak makes the bold move becoming a superpower of sorts after digesting India whole in their stomach. But if China was to move on the gangus they will rightly assume the role of next superpower but I am skeptical how it will all play out or who will move first. AfPak won't mind if China was to move on the gangus river before them but it may tag along and China may do vice versa but if one of them was to sit out they will forfeit their role of rising into a major superpower.. Example if China was to sit on the sideline it will forfeit that role to Afpak who will become the major next superpower after sollowing India.

You don't need to love someone in order to have great understanding and mutual interests even with differences because it is all about interests at the end of the day.

developing FTA with them then expanding it to military to military corporations and then expanding into mutual defense treaty agreement that says if one is attacked both is attacked where fates of both states get intertwined.

playing a key role in seeing Afghanistan grow in every sector and playing a key role in seeing Afghanistan grow stronger is key and the return payment will be far greater harvest for Pakistan then it can ever imagine.

If AfPak becomes none-existence we will seal our fate and both will fail down the road hence it is not out of love but out of necessity.
I agree, Pakistan and Afghanistan need to unit their economies. If we don;t do it we are both ruined for future.

No money to raise 7 battalions under the National security plan for border security.

Each day dozens of Pakistanis here literally want to nuke Afghanistan. Most of them belong to the recently ousted political party who is being blamed for her appeasement approach to hardliners.

So don't assume that hypocrisy is a forgotten art in these woods.
Sad but true

Why waste bullets and precious lives on Afghans ? We can not hit Afghans with anything which others and far better Armies has thrown at them, now only Nukes and Godzilla is left, Nuke them and than send Godzilla cause Godzilla will love the radioactive land and might stay there for few hundred years to keep Afghans in check, finally the world can be at peace, specially Pakistan.

Who is the fuk is the world fuk the world.. An Afghan is a cowboy and should roll on and cowboy hustle inside India that is where they will settle down 50 years from now..

Each Afghan should be given 50 wives to multiple... God bless thy Afghan brethens

Do the Taliban want a alliance with Pakistan should be the question? If yes we could build mountain airbases and missile bases in Afghanistan.
We don't need or want bases but a peaceful neighborhood. But problem is mullahs with drugs and money are a dangerous breed.

The only thing Af-Orcistan needs

The reality is that there is NO reset button. If there is anything to be achieved it has to be based on reality and cognizance of shared history and polity.
The facts are that Pashtuns/Pakhtoons/Pathans are in fact Afghans, that is those who speak pashto. This is only to remind those who try to keep the wedge erected by the Brits alive. So, this only makes other political realities evident and clear as day... that Afghanistan is a microcosm of Pakistan, a country of multitude of ethnicities and languages... Tajiks, Uzbeks, Turkmen and Hazara some of the notable few.

The geopolitics that Pakistan has to align itself with is the political reality on the western edge of Pakistan that was always there ... for ages... The Persian and Turkic world!
Which speaks volumes on both Afghans(the pashto speakers) and PanjAbis(literally two Persian words transliteration of which means Five Waters!) For those this reality is lost on... for hundreds of years Lahore and Kabul were centers of Persian language. Only difference that British eradicated that past, created hard borders and disconnected this side from it's geopolitical reality. Which essentially made Pakistan artificially orbiting Indian cultural appropriation and onslaught. To complete the first thought... both Afghans and PunjAbis are not monolithic groups but an amalgamation... such as turkics who speak pashto and Afghans who speak Punjabi so on and so forth.
Fact is that it is among THESE very tribes and ethnicities some found common ground ... above that fray while maintaining their ethnic and linguistic identities and came to conquer India multiple times over. Whereas the Jatts/Jauts/Jutts of PunjAb never managed to first have any of their clans either manage to gather critical mass, association/alliance or diplomatic/organizational strength to establish their domain(except for the small exceptions) less do any conquest ... they instead changed with the winds and mercenaries. Where they did manage to unite in case of Sikhs, they ruled. In there case 3 million ruled around 70... quite a contrast.

People in Pakistan will eventually have to realize the reason why The Raj had it's largest cantonment in Rawalpindi of all places or why they made those borders of convenience with Aghanistan as a buffer. Why U.S. armed Pakistan and even formed defense treaties... the military was always meant for the Western border and keeping the gulf Arab sheikhdoms stable. The armaments were always meant to be used against Soviets, India was a convenient ruse.
Which is why the same institution milked the instability in its Western neighbor... playing it's part. Soviet invasion was in fact a blessing, something that wa sought and duely exploited... instability was later maintained and WOT became convenient... so much so that the institution actively seeks it's revival in any form... it is a source of dried up revenues for the wigs. No wonder, the poor souls blame all on Pakistan... a game of spite plays out.

Anyhow, the geopolitical center of Pakistani people resides with it's enormous hinterland whose masses today reside and call Pakistan, home!
If anything linguistic revival is absolutely imperative with both Turkic and Persian worlds to revive and resuscitate the now dead horse. Eurasian connectivity will rejuvenate the long dormant prosperity of the region and above all connect people once again for free flow of goods and ideas.
And it will never happen until people will reconcile with their true past and reconnect with it!

So what exactly are you suggesting?
