Why Pakistan needs more provinces

Bundjabi, you addressed next to nothing, promoted provincial categorization based on ethnic heritage, and sh*t the bed at the mere thought of a divided punjab.

You could've at least acknowledged that much of balochistan has a pashtun majority, and therefore, based on ethnic grounds, it as at least theoretically reasonable to merge it with KPK.

Either way, these are cosmetic, and I'm not hell bent on any of these. But my suggestions are far more reasonable than further division of everything in the country.
first of all keep your tongue under control and learn the respectful way to address people.name calling will get you no where.
secondly i didn't promoted ethnic based provincial categorization.i was merely stating the fact that our provincial division is based on ethnicity.and no one is shitting bed here all i was advocating and still do is either everyone get divided on administration bases or no one get slashed.this is the only fair thing to do.
coming to KPK ,Baluchistan issue.it is their problem and after 18 amendment they do have enough power to resolve it on their own with minimum federal input.so go sort it out between yourself. it is not Punjab's issue neither we have any interest or say in it.

We were answered with bullets when we resisted a name change of the province and started demanding our own province, though people of that region have always been patriotic and loyal Pakistanis.

Hindkowans usually vote for parties who promise them province. Same is the not the case in punjab, PPP was rooted out from south punjab by N league. Seraiki suba movement is dead.

That is not the case ........... if it was........ then Baba Haider Zaman and his party would be in parliament. PTI's candidate against Mehtab Abbasi, never won an election but this time in 2013 it was an upset. However, next time in 2018 I don't think anything is stopping PMLN from winning again.

Narcissist sb,

That guy's an indiot... why would he suggest anything that actually benefits Pakistan? Expand punjab, yet he never suggests KPK get northern Balochistan, or Attock and Mianwali.

This "Indiot" stands corrected, sir! That wud be a reasonable suggestion that Pushtoon parts of B'stan could be merged with Pushtoon parts of NWFP and FATA into a large Pukhtoonkhwa. Minus of course Hazara/Hindko parts which cud go to Punjab, which should also include "Azad Kashmir" as ethnically it is more Punjabi than Kashmiri. I am not sure whether Attock or Mianwali have a plurality of Pushtoons which wud justify their transfer to Pukhtoonkhwa.

So here is my suggestion on the political map of Pakistan:

1. Punjab: Including current Punjab + AK + Hazara/HIndko regions of NWFP + Northern canal districts of Sindh (in case they have Punjabi majority)
2. Sindh: Rural Sindh (minus canal districts which have Punjabi majority)
3. Jinnahpur: Karachi+ Hyderabad
4. Balochistan: Current B'stan less Pushtoon majority districts.
5. Pukhtoonkhwa: Old NWFP less Hazara/Hindko districts + Pushtoon maj B'stan + FATA.
6. Gilgit Baltistan

Regards

I know large numbers of punjabis were granted lands in sindh canal colonies for their military service in British army, but I'm pretty sure they are happy as things are right now. Being part of one province or another isn't that big of deal for them. In fact many from upper punjab also settled in south punjab by British.

Save ghenda,

That is true, sir. Punjabis are a hard working, big-hearted and peaceful qaum (unless they are provoked by outsiders). I come from a different part of India but greatly admire them for their work ethic and ability to assimilate with others.

Regards

In my opinion new province should be like this,

1 Kalash(Chitral & purchase Budhakshan from Afghanistan to make it) Chitral
2 Gilgit & Baltistan Capital: Gilgit
3 Khyber(Northern FATA) Capital: Khyber
4 Waziristan(North & South) Capital: Wana
5 Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Capital: Peshawar
6 Hazara Capital: Abbottabad
7 Azad Kashmir Capital: Muzzaffarabad
8 Potohar(North Western Punjab) Capital: RawalPindi
9 Punjab(North Eastern & Upper Central Punjab) Capital: Faisalabad
10 Seraikistan(South Punjab) Capital: Multan
11 Pakland(Karachi, Hyderabad & Jamshoro) Capital: Jamshoro
12 Sindh(exclude Karachi, Hyderabad & Jamshoro) Capital: Sukkur
13 Makran(Chaghai & Southern Balochistan) Capital: Gawadar
14 North Balochistan Capital: Quetta
15 South Balochistan Capital: Kalat
16 Islamabad Capital Territory.
