I find it strange that no poster here mentions the fact that with the insertion of a 3rd party namely China which controls Aksai Chin & areas illegally ceded by Pakistan the chances of a settlement other than conversion of the LC / LAC / LOC into an IB are zero.

Feroze Jehangir Ghandy was born to a Parsi family at the Tehmulji Nariman Hospital situated in Fort, Bombay. His parents, Faredoon Jehangir and Ratimai (formerly Ratimai Commissariat), lived in Nauroji Natakwala Bhawan in Khetwadi Mohalla in Bombay. Aksai Chin was never ceded by pakistan to china, you need to study your history and geography better. The Aksai Chin area was captured by china from india.

No, you too need to read up on your history. The Aksai Chin area was captured by China in 1962, and its to the north west of pakistani kashmir.
