Why not CN-IN-PK form and lead a formidable ‘Asian Alliance’ ?

Despite the fiery diatribes among various members in various threads, it seems that most members are well aware of the reality of war. War will not give us anything, but will rob us of whatever all we did achieve so far.

Why not then we try ‘peace’ instead ? And that too in the limited region of S/SE Asia only which is relatively much in our control & influence. If only some of us including the 3 nuke-holders : China, India & Pakistan could solve the mutual grievances through ‘discussion’---not an unique/impractical idea; EU countries have done it after WWII---we could form an ‘Asian Alliance’ (AA) comprising China + India + Pakistan and other S/SE Asian countries who take interest.

This alliance will have to abide by a 'Non-aggression Treaty', and should be committed to avert all conspiratorial provocations / tricks played by others to cause any war within alliance’s combined boundary.

Then let us save chunk of our money from the madly defense budgets, and spend that on education, health, human resources, infrastructure, industry & R&D. We stop going to the 'arms vendors' for a while. Only keep the alliance alive & effective for 10-12 ; maxm 15 years. Make all laws / restrictions pertaining to Visa, Currency, Trade and Travel lenient to peoples of all AA members over that period of 15 years. Just do not allow buying of ‘immovable assets’ in a member country by any person belonging to other members of AA. The last thing required is an unified AA’s interest-centric foreign policy.

You will be surprised by the tremendous growth that will occur in this part of Asia--- raising standard of living and all social development indicators in all alliance countries.

Then just sit and see 'who' comes for 'what' to 'whom'.

…or you do not believe so.

…oh! You think such an alliance is absurd ! Why ?

….In case you believe that the concept has a chance to work, what benefits do you see ? Do you have any data / fact / figure on combined talents, resources and potential of such an alliance ?

…You have an improved idea; that is even better.

Please put your valuable views.

:disagree:
Dont think It'll happen..
For the simple reason that there is really no urgent need for such an alliance.
China and India are doing quite good in economics, defence and geo-politics on their own.

It is already happening (san India). It is only GOI that is holding out, as all other Asian countries have already started the process of integration, peace & cooperation. India currently illegally holds land pertaining to both Pakistan and China. Pakistan & China does NOT possess Indian lands. What India "claims" already has INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF CHINESE & PAKISTANI ETHNIC GROUPS. Both Pakistan and China have on numerous occasions offered a fair land-swap in which India would return ONLY PART OF THE LAND to its rightful owner, and in turn would receive adjacent land that has lower habitation (whereby Indians can inhabit). In the end India would come out the winner as it has ensured peace for its people (thus it can focus instead on development instead of Kashmir and NE) and as GAINED NET LAND.

We are patiently waiting GOI to choose peace and fair land-swap instead of aggression and dreams of further land theft. :smitten:

man u c indian NE as part of china,u dont want to look china acquiring tibet,u want to c palestine u don't want to c tibet.although it's a gud way to show loyality, but truth is truth.kashmiri protest not for joining with pak,but for independent country which will never be given.if u really do care abt kashmir then return the *** lol.

one more thing u.s has provided nuclear deal to india for the sake of not making any alliance with china, just to counter china.coz u.s dont want to c the any more power to challenge them.so linking with land disputes ,u will not get anything:pop::pop:

I have been preaching this idea for a long time , if we are sincere in solving our issue and getting our powers together than nothing is impossible.

All it takes is just a little courage from each member.

correction You meant Grump (America-----BANKRUPT ONE) says no.

That perfectly makes sense..

and the slave mentality of indians shows again.

back in the 19th century i bet you were all so happy that the advanced white man showed you the way of civilization. If it was still the British Empire I bet India would say "Britain (god) says no."

DEEKHA DI NA APNI AUKAT.:hitwall:
