I actually eat very little beef, even in Kerala it was usually onlu when my uncle ordered it (my father being a veggie has no relationship with any meat at all). So for me it's not a personal issue. For me it is just the thinking that religion has to have precedence over the 100 other things because of purely political reasons that irritates me.

I care what Hinduism says and to adhere Hinduism or Christianity or Islam you should follow secularism. And In Hinduism it is made compulsory not eat beef. And in other religious If made compulsory to eat beef then it is a conflict but it is not.
So other religions should also adhere the secularism and respect Hindu belief.

Who is forcing hindus to eat beef? Also, maybe some hindu is not a good hindu and he doesn't follow all of hinduism. The state will now force everyone to become a good practising hindu ?

In my state, beef is cheaper than pork. I used to eat beef daily when I was a kid. I hardly eat beef nowdays. Pork is more popular here but I like chicken.
