There were rumors in Fars news and Tass that Russia Intelligence Agency had discovered the coup attempt a few hours earlier through its eavesdropping equipment in Syria and had warned Erdogan of the coup. That probably explains the fast reaction from Iran side as well.

Mate, if the coup has been succeeded. Fethullah Gülen would return to Turkey like Khomeini returned after revolution. Turkey would transform into Sunni Islamic Republic of Turkey.

Wonder what Gülen thinks about Iran and Iranians ?

So why did erDOGan became friend with him if he hates Iran?

So attempting a coup is terrorism... Can you say that if it happens somehwere else in the world? Or just double standards?

Oh now you know how it feels..
First of all I never insulted your country, and second of all you were preaching democracy to Syria, and part of democracy is saying whatever about officials and etc.. But I don't want to hurt your feelings I won't even mention him at all...
And to this day I have not found any good reason that why he is arresting any person that says Gülen and closing anything that has to do with Gülen or using it as an excuse to get rid of officials... I heard that the military power will transfer to President.. Each day it makes perfect sense why this was a staged coup.. In order to gain more power...
