once the responsible and peaceful Communist Party of India (maoist) assumes power, we can consider giving support for India to join UNSC.

中华人民共和国;910865 said:No, isn't it all too obvious now? Clearly, there's going to be a revolution in India within the decade.
I think China will be divided in to 6-8 countries before the revolution.
We need a permanent membership and we will fight for it. No need to talk rubbish here.

Well, India should not be allow as a permanent member in UN security council, reason is pretty obvious, why?
Look, when UN is condemning India's oppressive "Caste-System" an abuse to human right, so only until the day India able to eliminate this evil system, no way India should be a member of security council period.
India's caste system a human rights abuse: UN
中华人民共和国,below_freezing:-there is going to be no revolution India the only way Maoist can come to power is by standing for elections
blueRhino:- china will not bake in to 6-8 pieces besides its in India's interest to have stable neighbors.
thanks for a sane comment
Some of the arguments are weird. China actually will gain if India becomes a member of the permanent security council. China and India pretty much face similar issues and similar fight for global resources. Issues such as who controls global money, police waters, health resources for their population, trade potential, agriculture and power subsidies, genetic crops, WTO etc. are all so common to both countries than between any other 2 countries in the world. There would be very few areas where China and India would disagree. When this is the case, intelligent Chinese must know that India on the council would actually be very advantageous to Chinese causes. I have zero doubt that China will actually support India's bid for a permanent security council seat. Control of global resources trumps every other issue between India and China. Times have changed indeed!
