Why IAF does NOT need either Eurofighter or Rafale

Ajai Shukla Should Purchase a F-35 For himself if he is so Much in love with that craft :D

Aside , The article Mentions Chinese J-20 Which will be Operational by decade end after Flight Testings but Fails to Mention Indian Procurement of FGFA By end of Decade , The MMRCA Will acts as Medium class Fighters Between Heavy class MKI's of IAF And Light combat Aircraft for Which EFT/Rafale fits the bill.

F-35 Surely has advantage of 'Stealth' and Can work wonders for Naval Operations , Hope Navy would Consider a Sqdn or 2 of This for Operating through AC's and Land Bases

I think the way Ajai Shukla is advertising F- 35 if India buy's he will US Citizenship.

This photo for all F - 35 Fanboys.

Singapore and South Korea chosing the F 35 as a credible defence capability against China. Do you really think that China would attack Singapore, a country with 80% of its population consisting of Chinese han, with same cultural and historical ties and with most of its population now looking at China for even more economic and cultural relationship. The F 35 and all US weaponry that Singapore would buy are targeted not against China but mainly against Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and other extremist groups.

The J-20 fighter prototype, a 5th generation combat aircraft built by China's Chengdu Aircraft Industry, made its first flight on January 11, 2011. This necessitates a re-evaluation of the IAF's procurement of 4th generation medium fighters, which is close to being finalised. Ajai Shukla reports

Cause PLAAF is not inducting 4+ J10-A/B, J-15, J-13 and other flanker variants. Ajai Shukla needs to stfu :argh:

Is logic se toh hum logon mein ladai hi nahin honi thi !!

FGFA is good 9-10 years away (if all goes well) so we have to maintain IAF sharp edges till that time, we cant b superior with old and aging toys and b sure of your self that we are not buying any 4.5 g aircraft these are the best ones available at this time and for this time period. hope i am making some sense to discussion.

you guys dont seem to do any long term perspective planning
these a/c will be stuck with iaf for atleast 40 years by which time plaaf would have long moved on to 5th gen thnx to the cheap chinneese manufacturing machines[no offence]
plus this deal originally started when there was no future of fgfa

40 F22's will be far better than 126 F35's even with out tot but with out restrictions.
40 F22's + 250 FGFA will be night mare for China.

and how do you think iaf will get the f-22 raptors
stop daydreaming [or is it night]
more pak-fa are the only and best solution

We dont want to bcome fat. Lean nd mean nd qwik. Like brahmos.

right missiles r most necessary. the brahmos and nirbhay can be inducted in thousand. and its hard to find and destroy the same. so its always worry for enemy. by destroying runways planes can be useless. the battlefield may be destroy by missiles rockets artilliary shells etc. but not hidden missiles. or as launchers can be any where not near border.

Hilarious!!!!!

tujhe lagta hai ki tune bahut bada joke mara hai ?

The fighters that india is planning to buy is going to serve the IAF for 35 to 40 years, when the future is all about 5th gen fighters is it wise for us to invest so heavenly on a 4.5 gen fighter. If we are looking at a stock gap fighter should nt we look at something cheeper.

I am again telling you all that I don't think F35 is an option at all.
