Well said, basically that is the tone behind the movie 'PK' as well. And I, personally, agree with it that my God or religion does not require me to defend Him or it. Although it may require me to defend my fellow humans, be they of any faith, colour or Nationality.

But I still cannot condemn the French guys because they considered it their duty to respond to the ridicule of their religion. Like most italians i´m catholic. The church means something for us. Many make fun about god, jesus, the pope and so on. Does it make me angry? Yes it does. Sometimes even hurt and sad but i would never kill over something like this. I see my god as far bigger than this and would never hurt someone who makes fun about him.

God is one. All Hindu Gods were created by the one God Brahma who again is a creation of the supreme God Vishnu. Hindus believe that all living beings and non-living beings are part of the one supreme God. In Mahabharat Krishna consoles Gandhari by saying that he shares her pain because her sons Duryodhan and his brothers were also a part of him and he too felt their pain when he died.

If a "God" can be "insulted" or "humiliated and made fun of" by a silly thing like cartoon then that said God does not have the right to call himself a God. A god who has created an entire universe which has BILLIONS of planets will not even wait to read what a pakistani like you has to say about him.
