The difference in economic development is widening between india and Pakistan with each passing day. They can no longer afford to take on india in anyway; on the other hand the richer and the powerful india becomes, the more resourceful and powerful it will become to cripple pakistan.
Isn't it a trait of a Wiseman to come to a compromise with a powerful fellow when it is clear that it is not going to be good to take on a powerful enemy.
Why can't pakistan just say :Mate whatever has happened has happened..let us both agree to give up the claim on Kashmirs which are in each others parts.Let us forget the past..We may not become friends but at least let's not be enemies.

The only reason I see for pakistan not being able to do that is its army..once the enmity with india is buried they will not have the financial benefits which they are enjoying now. They will not get the hero type attention from their citizens. in my opinion a true pakistani well wisher is he who wants to have peace with india and not the war because he very well knows that animosity with india will only drag pakistan into abyss in future .

Are you drunk or first time connecting to the internet? Or never read news? Allow me to enlighten you because your post seems like it was written in the Vedic times and posted in 2016 . The following are entirely contradictory to your post of India rising and Pakistan going into a ditch......may want to sober up and then re-open your thread with some corrections. The following links are from the top reputable economic powerhouses, and trust me, they're never wrong :enjoy:

Home / Business / Pakistan’s stock market dominates Asia: Bloomberg

ISLAMABAD: Asia’s best-performing stock market this year could be in for an additional boost if MSCI Inc. includes Pakistan in its emerging-market index for the first time since 2008.

The index provider, added frontier-market Pakistan to its list for possible reclassification last year, citing improvements in transparency and liquidity, said a report appeared in the Bloomberg.

The report said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is seeking to boost economic growth to its fastest pace in more than a decade after achieving stability through an International Monetary Fund loan programme that averted an external payments crisis in 2013.

The nation also plans to end an energy crisis in two years with the help of $46 billion of planned Chinese investment.

The Karachi Stock Exchange KSE100 Index has gained 15 percent this year, making it the best performer in Asia.

The gauge has climbed 4.2 percent this month, compared with a 0.4 percent fall in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.

EFG Hermes said last month an upgrade could lure around $475 million of inflows by mid-2017. Pakistan has a “70 percent chance” of being promoted, according to Tundra Fonder, a fund manager specializing in frontier markets.

The country’s benchmark index rallied the most in five weeks before MSCI’s decision due late Tuesday in New York.

“Pakistan is moving into acceptance: the nation has what it needs, a decently functional state and decent stability,” said Mattias Martinsson, the Stockholm-based chief investment officer at Tundra Fonder, which holds $200 million of Pakistani equities.

“We have a pretty fair chance,” said Farid Ahmed Khan, the Karachi-based chief executive officer at ABL Asset Management Co.

Pakistan was downgraded to frontier status in December 2008, four months after the Karachi Stock Exchange imposed a rule that caused near total paralysis of market activity for more than three months.

MSCI’s Frontier Markets Index currently features 16 Pakistani companies that make up about 9 percent of the gauge.

“Pakistan’s market has been doing so well as valuations are some of the lowest in the region,” said Arthur Kwong, the Hong Kong-based head of Asia-Pacific equities at BNP Paribas Investment Partners, which oversees about 552 billion euros ($623 billion).

Dear friend, after joining PDF since last couple of years, one good thing i have realized about the story and perception of Pakistan too...So in India and Pakistan relation, it is not like Pakistan has all the issues, and we do not have anything...So in order to build a good relationship, both of India and Pakistan has to work with each other...We both have to retract from our stated positions then only a normal relation can be established..

So rather i would like to see, India and Pakistan to just ignore each other for 10 year...I mean, if we ignore we do not have any negativity to impact us, then we may be able to create a positive development for ourselves..

And the only reason that I ever see talks failing and sabotaged between the two countries is indian military.

What other dispute Pakistan has with india except Kashmir? If india ever reconciles with Pakistan then there is no reason for india to have such huge military (unless they plan to invade others), better relations with Pakistan would mean more better relations with China. So why would india need such huge military?

It is simple. In fact, every Indians know that. Not only that, both Indians and Afghans have the same problem.

India is not able to accept Pakistan as nation. It is all about 1947. To this day, India hasn't been able to accept Pakistan. That's why this is never ending battle, to the extent Afghans joined on board because Afghans didn't accept Pakistan either.

Pakistan is here to stay. And that bothers India and Afghanistan, even to this day. This is embarrassing. The world has moved on, Pakistan has moved on, but Afghanistan and India are stuck to where they are at [slave to the hatred].

Right now Pakistan has a bigger problem then India. Obesity. Too many Pakistani's are eating too much food and getting fat. Pakistan first needs to reconcile with this problem. Rest can wait.
If only they could not afford to eat so much? Obesity problem solved.

Pakistan Army wants peace.

Is Indian Army ready to drop its weapons, stop supporting terrorists, disband RAW, stop billions of dollars of arms import and extend an olive branch?

That's the first step to lasting peace. PA will leave you alone and we can both focus on our economies.
