This forum has a bias against Brazil. A lot of members feel that they have to put a Brazilian "in his place", whatever that means. They think Brazil is ***, carnival, football, and poverty. They don't want to see anything else other than what's in their minds.

Really? You are going to let one person ruin the impression of Brazilians for you? Most Brazilians I have interacted with online and offline have been awesome.

Latin America has it's own problems, I am well aware of that, But I am intensely curious about it's history, it's people etc.

Brazil is a waste. A cesspool. Personally I am interested in Argentina. From their people to their football, to Patagonia.

Uruguay doesn't sound too bad. At least their leader isn't crazy. And they neighbor Argentina.

Argentina is fascinating too.

In Brazil's defence, a lot of the world is a cesspool. A poor defence but there you have it.

I found a depressing documentary were Brazil has the highest number of crack cocaine addicts.

But India and Pakistan objectively speaking are worse off than a lot of Brazilians. But Indians have specialised in Technology so we are in some ways ahead.

I mean, we have a lot of Pakistanis and Indians bluster about why their country is the greatest.

My advice is to ignore him.

He said he joined the site to learn about other cultures, but all he has been doing is passing judgments. In all honesty, engaging this guy is waste of time.

1-Will you first think of strenthening your country so that it doesnt suffer from 200 years of humiliation again and then of feeding your population??
2-Or you will first feed your population compromising your security just to be coloised again and land again at the same point from where you started??
