Why do we not learn local languages of other provinces of Pakistan?

No way man , i am even against learning Sindhi here in sindh it is included in children's syllabus and its a complete waste of time , i mean what can you use them for , we should focus on compiling better IT and scientific syllabus for our youth , if somebody wants to learn languages , he/she can but it should not be imposed on children ...

Not just understand speech but to also understand the culture and mindset of the people of other provinces for business purposes also.
Learning new languages is extremely difficult. In Canada, we have 2 official languages, English and French, yet outside of Quebec, most people don't know how to speak a lick of French, outside of a few phrases.

It's not from a lack of trying either, mind you, French is taught for most of a student's life, but because learning new a new language is difficult, especially considering the government already caters to your currently spoken language, there is little incentive to learn it. And once again, I mention, it's also very VERY difficult.

On a side note, if you do want to learn a new language, I suggest apps like Grammarly. They don't have a lot of asian languages, but they do have a lot of North American, European, and Latin American languages.

I am not saying that people should be forced to learn another provincial language, but the option must be provided to the students to learn a language of a neighboring province. Like pashto for someone in punjab and punjabi for someone in kpk.

Why are you against learning Sindhi
Sindhi isn't much different from Punjabi it won't be difficult for an Urdu speaker to learn

.
It would be easier to learn a regional language compared to english if it's taught in school like balochi or pashtu
Hahaha , i think you have'nt heard pashtu or Balochi thats why you are saying it , i know some people say that English is not a scale for measuring someone's intelligence but it is infact an international language therefore it should be taught but it should not be used to judge someone ...

No one gives a damn about English here in Germany, everything is in german language and you are respected more if you talk to people in german language rather than english language even though many germans can understand and speak english language.

I was once in Italy and hardly anyone can speak english there, in fact at Milan airport I was asking for some information to an italian official at the airport, he told me he can answer me in german language but he understood my question in english and off course I understood his answer in german language.

If these languages are taught in school than a primary student would be able to understand them

Unfortunately English is our Official langauge , so we have to learn it even if don't want to ...

why should we make a child's schooling much harder than to easily teach all of the children one common language so that they can communicate with each other irrespective of which part of Pakistan they live or visit

I am not saying that they should be compulsory for anyone, they should just be presented as an optional subject in case someone is interested to learn for example pashto language in punjab.

All regional languages are already available as optional

They teach us outdated English language in pakistan, even Brits have also stopped using that ancient english language literature and poetry that they teach us in schools and college english books in pakistan. That is the reason why we struggle to understand the modern english language that is used in english movies and international english media these days. I learnt more english when I prepared myself for TOFEL exam than all the english that I learned from my school and college years.
