Totally Business minded aka baniyeay,
why not call them pakistani or bngledeshi restaurants instead of taking our name?
That's not true at all. Most Indians I know will never eat at pakistani or bd restaurant. We usually check on Zomato, the restaurant site, or ask who the chief is before sitting down.

Because its called Indian food and even if you tell non asian this is Pakistani or Bangladeshi it doesnt make sense to them. All they know is that spicy curry is Indian food.why not call them pakistani or bngledeshi restaurants instead of taking our name?
Pakistan land of Indus is real India...
I agree 100%. Yes, early on this could be justified as a consequence of the widespread meaning of "India" as spread by British influence prior to 1947. However 70 years later this should have been remedied. Sometimes minor or even superficial can point out to fundamental malaise in society. I certainly think this applies to this as it exposes the utter failure of Pakistan state to develop a brand or identity. What has been developed is just the tag "Muslim" which of course is rootless and not a brand but a generic term. That's not true at all.
