Then Pakistan should change its name
It's already part of the acronym Paklstan.
Sindh (real India) is a province of Pakistan.

I agree 100%. Yes, early on this could be justified as a consequence of the widespread meaning of "India" as spread by British influence prior to 1947. However 70 years later this should have been remedied. Sometimes minor or even superficial can point out to fundamental malaise in society. I certainly think this applies to this as it exposes the utter failure of Pakistan state to develop a brand or identity. What has been developed is just the tag "Muslim" which of course is rootless and not a brand but a generic term.
The Banglas actually do use it more than Pakistani's - again showing the Banglas have been more successful in consolidating their identity. Pakistani on the other hand live in a perverted, rootless existance which either is based on ethnic group, clan or then jumps to ummah concept. Pakistan is lost in all this. The result is Pakistan is failed to build up any soft power. Culture, clothing, history all have been handed to India on a platter.
This is not a minor issue and is at heart of the jihadi craze and religious fundamentalism Pakistan suffers from and will continue to suffer.
That line made me really laugh hard.... Reality Check needed... Now this Pakistani restaurant labels its self ... Pakistani, Indian, Chinese & Arabic...That's not true at all. Most Indians I know will never eat at pakistani or bd restaurant. We usually check on Zomato, the restaurant site, or ask who the chief is before sitting down.

India is a bastardized term for Sindh.
why not call them pakistani or bngledeshi restaurants instead of taking our name?
many restaurants are now calling themselves bengali instead of indian now! before it was just indian
Simply because the food predates the creation of both Pakistan and Bangladesh
The food is basically muslim cuisine of South Asia, alot of meat, beef, lamb, chicken etc dishes
But it was known well before as Indian food, why? Because we were one country.
It now has a label and it becomes difficult to buck that cuisine label
So even if many if those dishes are muslim only, baltis, meat curries etc its still called indian restaurants
Its a slow process but its gradually changing
We dont really go to Bengali restaurants
But Pakistani run now have a heavy islamic or Pakistani theme
Indian Restaurants serve Both Veg and Non Veg dishes
Westerners when they visit Indian restaurants mostly try the Veg food
for a change and also because they have Non Veg food at home
They were fighting FOR the whole of INDIA ; not just Sindh
im not a very learned man but all so called pakistani or bangladeshi cuisine before 15th august 1947 was indian for so called gorras and for some even now its only for "kale angrez" from indian sub continent or so called mard e momins from mulk e millat from south central asiaan sub continet who diffrenciate between indian or pakistani cuisine
though off topic sorry @WebMaster but even urdu was born in "salateen e dehli" as urdu in persian means fauji barracks and urdu is a mix of kurdish, turkish , persian and desi indian dilects mixed together and so are all so called indian or pakistani cuisine's only difference post independence is lack or certain meat of certain animals in india and in pakistan and thats it while spieces and methedolgy of making almost all the dishes are same as ,,, khair janne do we all know it here is a chart
and yes religion plays a very bg part in what we eat in so called south asia in different communities
