Why do all Pakistani films suck big time but TV dramas rock?

Just now I start downloading 'Main Hoon Shahid Afridi'. Lets see if its good film. Promo looks promising.

Have already seen 'Main Hoon Shahid Afridi'. Not a good film in my opinion but not bad either. Strictly below average. On top of that a 50 yr oldie plays 20 in the film. Mahnoor Baloch puts Rakhi Sawant in shame with her dressing sense. She looked so vulgar in a song.

Have also seen 'Bol'. This film is better than 'Khuda Ke Liye'.

I just hope work on Bilal Lashari next project remake of Maula Jatt start soon. Best Pakistani film ever made without any doubt. Hated the fact that Waar was mostly in English. Though i didnt watch it yet.

I have plan to watch 2 Pakistani films today.

Seems like there is no other good PK films to watch.

Well Pakistan industry toke nose dive after Zia. Before every year 150-200 films were released, market was big. After Zia harami cinemas turned in to shopping malls and movie tech basically stayed in 80's though out even 00's. Meanwhile Pakistanis didnt miss much because bollywood is made up by ex-Pakistanis. But just now there are signs of recovery.

100 multiplex modern cinemas are under construction, it wil take 5 years for all of them to be ready.
