Turkish TV serials are big hit in Pakistan

One of the best series i have ever seen in my entire life, better than Game of Thrones.
Thats exaggeration and might I say a slightly biased opinion. Game of thrones is one of the best ever shows out there. Ertugrul is a great show but not really comparable to GoT.

I have never seen any drama serial like ask e memnu.it was great.

I loved watched adini feriha koydum, watched it multiple times. Nothing matches ertugrul, have started season 4 now. Also waiting for Osman dirilis to start!!
Others dramas i liked were, medcezir, beni soyle sev and recently started meri kahani on urdu1, really enjoying it so far. These are more like romcoms.

which one?

There is no need to advertise the TV series funded by the English puppet Saud dynasty by mentioning its name. May Allah save all Muslims in the Arabian peninsula from the persecution of these puppets soon.

Praise be to Allah (swt)
Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, our sole and eternal leader

WE loved Dirilis Erturul Thanks to Turkey

For those who want to watch Start here:

Pakistani media never came ANYTHING close to making this type of Series.

Every Muslim should watch this to strengthen their beliefs and character.
Are you ready for Kuruluş Osman:

Pakistani audiences are thirsting for something different and Turkish series are a breath of fresh air. The domestic industry needs to up their game instead of regurgitating the same family feud star crossed lover dramas.
Pakistani film/drama makers intellect doesn't go beyond love stories/vulgar dance/item songs, they are just (specially movies) cheap copy of indian trash movies.

Dirilis Ertugrul has put to shame all those who think that a perfect story line doesnt exist without cheap romance, flirting and item numbers.

Patriotism, honesty, love of God, devotion to religion and tradition are the main themes of Dirilis Ertugrul.

After gaining sweeping popularity in the Middle East, South Africa and surprisingly in South America, action-packed Turkish television series Dirilis: Ertugrul has taken over Pakistan.

So much so, that Prime Minister Imran Khan recently ordered that all its five seasons be dubbed in Urdu, to make it easy for the general public to watch and understand.

It is not only the Ertugrul, but other Turkish TV serials have also earned huge popularity in the country.

Often described as a Turkish Game of Thrones, the serial is woven around 13th century Anatolia and tells the story prior to the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. It illustrates the struggle of Ertugrul Gazi, father of the empire's first leader.

Cutting across the social divide, people are praising the plot, high quality production values, talented actors and the perfect direction. The serial makers are quite adept, knowing to keep the audience on the edge in each episode.

Former cricketer Shahid Afridi said the serial has brought history to his drawing room.

"Watching the Turkish series Dirilis: Ertugrul I am overwhelmed by their achievements and victories that came as a result of their faith and the empire of justice which they were able to establish,” he said.

"I have watched all the five seasons around, 390 episodes online. Only one season has been dubbed in Urdu, while remaining I have watched with Urdu subtitles,” Mohammad Amin, a young engineer based in Islamabad told Anadolu Agency.

The serial also very popular among the women and most of them are watching it in their houses.

"So far I watched two seasons along with my husband and kids and I could say that this is a great effort of Turkey to show us our history," Naila Khan, a local teacher from Mardan district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said

I learned from this serial that rulers in the Ottoman Empire were pious, thoughtful and brave and that was the reason who ruled on half of Europe, she remarked

Turkish dramas a whiff of fresh air

In September, Turkey, Pakistan and Malaysia have agreed to jointly fight the rising global trend of Islamophobia, mainly in the West. The three countries have also decided to launch a TV channel dedicated to confronting the challenges posed by Islamophobia and make films on Muslim's heroes.

Other Turkish TV serials, that have widely acclaimed include Mera Sultan, Ishq-e-Memnu, Ask Laftan Anlamaz, Fatima Gull, Fareeha, and Kosem Sultan.

"I love Mera Sultan and Ishq-e-Memnu, because the girls are very beautiful, heroes are handsome and every drama has a good story with beautiful backgrounds," Momina Imtiaz, a student of Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad said

A Bangkok based Pakistani businessman Hassan Nasar said Pakistani and Indian dramas have lost their charm. "I have seen many dramas but Sultan is my favorite serial,” he said.

Explaining the reason behind the popularity of Turkish serials, a prominent writer and poet Sher Alam Shinwari said public in Pakistan is inquisitive about glorious Muslim history.

But many drams are not about history. They are soap operas woven around love stories.

Filmmaker and producer Jamshed Ahmad Khan, said the Turkish unit works very hard and does not compromise on technology. Pakistan’s upper class is obsessed with modern dressing and vying for liberal storylines.

"There are many other reasons also behind the popularity of Turkish TV dramas. From acting to set designing to storylines, and above all the liberal attitude of characters, is what attract our youth in particular," Khan said

He admitted that Turkish dramas have affected Pakistan’s own TV industry. It has also taken viewership from Indian soap operas as well.

"With the arrival of cable networks, our TV channels and private producers, our drama industry took a beating from Indian counterparts. With now Indian soap operas becoming boring with same set of faces and never-ending story lines, Turkish dramas have come as a whiff of fresh air.

Pakistani media, drama, and music industry are ultra-liberal, obsessed with Indian and Western culture, and do not represent the conservative Islamic masses of Pakistan.

There is much untapped nostalgia for Islamic history, religious media, and other Muslim societies.

Our corrupted entertainment industry wants only the further corrosive storylines about saas bahu (mother and daughter in law) and sokkana (co-wives) fighting.

Sad to see males portrayed many times as drunks, gamblers, womanizers, rapists, while pure innocent girl must have patience and accept that undesirable situation.

They inadvertently promote these negative stereotypes in society.

It is a shame at the state of Pakistani media and entertainment, Islamic ethics and common more need to be restored.

You're right, Ertugrul isn't even comparable to GoT. Ertugrul is beyond better and amazing while Got is just Incest, vulgarity and beastiality and pure filth.

I don't know how people can watch that cheap p*rn.

Meanwhile, Mehmet Bozdag will bring to life a new TV series about the life of Jalaluddin Kharezmshah, who defeated Genghis Khan. This TV series will consist of 13 episodes of 60 minutes and will be shot in Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Now this is interesting. I hope that in the future we can have some good serials and movies about Islamic heroes like Tariq bin Ziyad, Salahuddin Ayyubi, Alparsalan, Berke Khan, Khalid bin Waleed, 4 Khilifat Rashidoon, Mahmud Ghaznavi, Alauddin Khilji, Sultan Babur, Sultan Aurangzeb, Tipu Sultan, and Ahmad Shah Abdali.

This is a small example of Western pigs' understanding of freedom. Then they tell you about the freedom of the media in your country. If this TV series told about the so-called heroism of a Western puppet traitor in one of the Muslim countries, they would gladly broadcast it.

Actually, I understand them. These Western pigs trembled like little girls for 600 years with Ottoman fear. Still, even the ashes of the Ottoman empire are enough to make them tremble. No matter what they do, it will eventually be what Allah (swt) says: "You will be defeated and gathered together to Hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest."

Finally, Muslims should also be extremely vigilant against terrorist states such as America, England, China, Russia, France, Germany, Dograel and their tails.

Jewish lobby succeded in banning Payitaht Abdülhamid from Netflix also.
