Its all about economy. Pakistan does not have oil like the rich Arabs it emulates. India looks to emulate US, Chinese business success and hence it is growing.

In the end China care about how the Chinese will benefit.

It's as Clinton once said, 'it's the economy, stupid!' With a burgeoning trade of $70 billion presently slated to smash the $100 billion mark within three years, and $200 billion by 2020, is it any surprise that China has higher stakes in its relationship with India?

In contrast Sino-Pak trade is a paltry $13 billion which is peanuts and stagnating since the past many years. So who would China bet on in the coming decade and beyond? By 2025 both China and India combined will most likely command a New World Order with America and the EU getting smothered by the dust kicked up in the wake of the Sino-Indian juggernaut!
