1. True, but in large cities free shelter and meals are provided for 10 days after that period the homeless person is 'encouraged' to return to their village in the countryside.
2. True, during the day they pack their belongings into wheeled suitcases and roam the streets looking for left over restaurant meals. At night they find space on walkways or under bridges to sleep. The authorities are quick and ruthless in dismantling any make shift shelters homeless people create on city streets.

I was visiting my hometown in 2019 and there were plenty of homeless people, mostly migrant worker looking. There were a few that look like it was mental health issue. It's nothing on the scale like LA or San Francisco, but they definitely exist. Pretending they don't exist doesn't help them in any way.

But they are not homeless, they have houses and land in the countryside.

I haven't seen any homeless people for at least 5 years in Beijing, and this guy in the OP video is looking for homeless people in Beijing. As for other cities, I m not very sure, but his video about China is absolutely true.

If they cannot afford a roof over their head where they currently are, they are homeless. Trying to claim they're not homeless because they have a roof a thousand mile away is retarded. China is not some utopia where mental health or poverty doesn't occur.

I actually bumped into the OP guy riding a scooter with a blonde lady near the forbidden city in Beijing couples of months ago, and left a message to them on youtube.

Fatass Xi doesn't want to see homeless in his capital naturally. Plenty of homeless elsewhere. Walk around Guangzhou and you can find at least a dozen within half a day.
