Why are the Afghan Taliban listening to Pakistan?

BECAUSE OF OUR SACRIFICES , AND WE WERE THE 1 ST TO REOCOGNIZE TALIBAN GOVT

So in one thread you implore Pakistanis to make sacrifice for Iran and when it comes to Afghanistan you want some sort of reward for selling them to Gitmo?

I like you.

. .
If US actually had any evidence of Pakistan supporting taliban then they would have put sanctions which would have collapsed Pakistan economy.
Is that so? have you thought of the risks involved in collapsing the economy of a Nuclear weapons state like Pakistan's? you really arent thinking this through. Besides, US does see Pakistan as an enemy, just a country that says its US's friend, but sort of has different "faces"/isnt 100% sincere in its strategic national relationships and behavior(many countries do this).

What US wanted was for Pakistan to fight their war in Afghanistan.
if this is true then why did NATO contribute 10s of thousands of soldiers and equipment to the Afghan war for over 17 years? US only wants Pakistan to not support its enemy in the Afghan war- the Taliban, but Pakistan never stopped doing this.
Now they too have realised military solution isn't possible in Afghanistan and have accepted our position.
NATO learned the hard way that a military solution is only impossible because of Pakistan's eternal support to Taliban. Even the most powerful and destructive Taliban attacks in Kabul are usually ISI orchestrated or and supported because no regular terrorist group could: accumulate all those explosives, get all the right intelligence, plan the operation and be successful without some state actor support.

Trump wanted same from Modi which is why he made fun of him when he talked about that library in Kabul. Once he realised India isn't going to do anything useful for peace in Afghanistan and is supa powa only on paper, then he turned towards Pakistan.
This is a different discussion.

are iranian talib shai or sunni supported by iran? but how can iran support shia taliban dont they have ideological differences?
Im happy your brought this up, because its further evidence that Iran isnt typical "sectarian" country as some might think.
"Iranian Taliban" are Sunni, but they go to Iran for support for 2 main reasons: 1) geography - I believe its easier for Taliban in western Afganistan to get support from Iran than Pakistan and 2) ideological difference with ISI/ Pakistani govt/ mainstream Taliban leadership OR ideological alliance with Iran - Any Taliban that are willing to attack US/NATO troops while ignoring counter instructions from Pakistan OR the attack is in Iran's interests, will work with Iran and Iran will support them. I believe there are alot of Taliban who will take outside help as long as doing so doesnt compromise the Taliban's overall goal(s) and ideology

okay now this is confusion as per my understanding Taliban dont get alone with shias and iran consider sunni taliban as a threat.so how come there can be shia taliban or iran supporting the enemy
to understand how Iran acts with Taliban or Sunni groups, just understand that things are not black or white. I actually can go ahead and say sustained heavy pressure from US and NATO has made Iran and Taliban movement come to a more middle ground, balanced "understanding" on the Afghan war. Taliban need to take any helpful support they can get cuz this war is long and the aggressors are well financed and have good militaries.

hence peace in Afghanistan is not in Irans interest
