I hope that this cafe thing isn't true..........Ramday has close personal links with Nawaz. He's the strongest contender for the reasons we all are aware of. LOL i hadnt seen his pics on media so didn't know he went by the name Ramday, he was my University President and had all the sitting lounges closed for students because he had given contract to some one (it was rumored to be a relative) to create a sub standard cafe and just to compel students to visit that cafe they were barred from sitting at lounges.
Didn't go well for NS? How please elaborate. Last i checked NS got away with his diabolical plot of making army look bad with that Almeida leaks and all RS did was what exactly? I have no issues with fanboism but such delusional perception is way off the mark.General Raheel also was selected because his father was close friend of Nawaz Shareef father but that didn't well for Nawaz Shareef don't expect that.
Just like people here were Jumping for Gen, Tariq. Most of these "people" are at most fanboys.A Big No for Gen Zubair.... People don't like him.... and A Big Yes for Gen Ashfaq..
It's true, I was a student there at that time.I hope that this cafe thing isn't true..........
But cult of Army is already cheerleading him like one of the finest warrior on planet earth and his family relations with PM doesn't matter at all
Sorry to say then his chances are zero. If I recall, Tariq Khan was rank and file's choice when Raheel became COAS.A Big No for Gen Zubair.... People don't like him.... and A Big Yes for Gen Ashfaq..

"Under command", how many? A single opinion or a word of mouth shouldn't be quoted. By calling him bad, you're insulting army's institutional mechanism that such man of such a bad repute can make it to utmost top.Under command soldiers and officers don't like Gen Zubair...he got a bad repute.... too harsh

agreedIn my humble opinion Gen Ramday and Gen Zubair both are not suitable for this appointment as they can't continue the legacy of Gen Raheel. Gen Ishfaq and Ge Bajwa both are competent enough. In my opinion Gen Ishfaq is top of the list.
The NDU thing? If yes then do give me the page please.
