Iran has a lot of neighbors but is enemy with all of them. Some say nobody wants an attack on Iran, only US/Israel wants attack on Iran. Nothing can be further from the truth! Everybody wants an attack on Iran. The Arabs, Israeli, Azeri, Turks, the Americans and all others support this attack.

Arabs want attack on Iran
Newly acquired intelligence reports indicate several Arab countries in the Middle East are lobbying the US to strike Iran this year, Israel's Channel 10 reported.

According to the report, which is said to be making its rounds in Britain's political circles, Saudi Arabia wants the Obama administration to attack Iran's nuclear facilities before the final withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.

US president has vowed to close the door on American military involvement in Iraq by year’s end, but Riyadh is reportedly afraid Iran will use the American exit to take over the country.

Since 2008, officials in the Iraqi interim government have complained to Washington that both Iran and Saudi Arabia were, respectively, funding the Shiite and Sunni insurgencies that have plagued the country since the US-led invasion that toppled late dictator Sadam Hussein.

Security experts say Baghdad's security forces are unprepared to confront the rival insurgencies that hold Iraq in their grip - and that Obama's dogged drive to fulfill his campaign promise may have disastrous consequences both for the region and US interests.

Saudi Arabia and its Gulf Arab allies have been locked in a strategic battle with Iran for hegemony over the Persian Gulf - and have accused Tehran of seeking to destabilize the region through its ‘Shiite Diaspora.’

Gulf Arab leaders have sought to exert pressure on Iran and its regional allies - most notably Syrian president Bashar al-Assad - by allying themselves with Western powers opposed to Tehran's aggressive posture.

They have also joined western powers in targeting Iran's nuclear program, which they see as targeting them first and foremost - rather than Israel, who Iran has threatened repeatedly with destruction.

Suadia Arabia has also said, should Iran obtain nuclear weapons, Riyahd will seek them as well - raising the specter of a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. Analysts say this may be a lever to spur Obama to alter course from his current passive, sanctions-driven posture towards Iran.

Despite this, Arab powers have been reticent to publicly call for an Iran strike - which has been a high profile part of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's diplomatic agenda.

Instead, observers say, they have sought to work behind the scenes to avoid being seen as working in concert with Israel.

Israeli want attack on Iran

he Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said he is ready to order a strike on Iran if international sanctions do not stop its nuclear programme.

“I am, of course, ready to press the button if necessary,” he said.

Speaking on Israeli television, Mr Netanyahu also indicated Israel was prepared to act unilaterally.

His government has failed to get the US to set a clear “red line” for military action against Iran.

This has put a strain on relations with the administration of President Barack Obama.

Channel Two interviewed the prime minister as part of an investigative report detailing Israel’s efforts to stop Iran from what it says is a drive to develop a nuclear weapon.

Iran insists its nuclear programme is purely for peaceful purposes.

Azeri want attack on Iran

Of course Azeri/Irani relationship is very bad since Iran stabbed Azeri people in the back. Iran sided with Russia and divided Azerbaijan between themselves. Russians gave independce to Azerbaijan and today we have north-Azerbaijan. But today South-Azerbaijan is still being occupied by Iran. From a lot of Azeri I heard they want to revenge south-Azerbaijan and are itching to attack Iran so south-Azerbaijan can join North-Azerbaijan. Azeri people are very proud people and they say enough is enough to farsi-facism. Reports say they support an attack on Iran:
Israel might resort to Azerbaijan’s strategic geographic position to strike Iran’s atomic sites, Reuters has reported, reviving rumours officially denied by both Israel and Azerbaijan.

*Leaked intelligence from two former Azeri military officers with links to serving personnel and two Russian intelligence sources all told Reuters that Baku and Tel Aviv are considering the Azeri bases for military use against Tehran.

If Tel Aviv is to act without Washington’s support, the Israeli war plan would need to compensate for the handicap of acting alone – notably carrying out long-range reconnaissance, bombardment and rescue missions.

Such a possibility could potentially be drawing near as last week Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the UN’s General Assembly that Tehran is only a year away from the "red line" for atomic capacity.

Washington has on numerous occasions stressed that the time for diplomacy and sanctions to deal with Iran has not run out. Israel continues to lobby for a potential military solution to concerns over Iran’s atomic facilities; something that many analysts believe will have dire consequences for the region.

Nevertheless, a member of the Azeri parliament's foreign affairs committee admitted to Reuters that Israel would need Baku’s support if it were to attack Iran as it would face a “refuelling” problem if it goes so far as taking the military option.

“I think their plan includes some use of Azerbaijan access,” Rasim Musabayov added. “We have (bases) fully equipped with modern navigation, anti-aircraft defenses and personnel trained by Americans and if necessary they can be used without any preparations.”

But officials in Azerbaijan’s president office have denied the speculation.

"No third country can use Azerbaijan to perpetrate an attack on Iran,” said Reshad Karimov from President Aliyev's staff.

Yet, in February Israeli defense officials confirmed a 2011 deal to sell to Azerbaijan 60 drones as well as antiaircraft and missile defense systems for some $1.6 billion.

"With these drones, (Israel) can indirectly watch what's happening in Iran, while we protect our borders," Musabayov says.

One of the sources linked to the Azeri military reportedly said: “There is not a single official base of the United States and even less so of Israel on the territory of Azerbaijan. But that is 'officially'. Unofficially they exist, and they may be used.”

The Reuters’ source also claimed that Iran was the main topic of discussion during Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman’s visit in April.

But this spring, Baku firmly denied reports that an agreement has been reached between Azerbaijan and Israel, granting the latter air base access for potential strikes on Iran. A spokesman from the Azeri defense ministry earlier refuted these claims as “absurd and groundless.” Those statements came on the back of a Foreign Policy report that claimed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel was "heightening the risks of an Israeli strike on Iran".

Azeri- Iran relation have seen better days. An Azeri-language television channel which is streamed by Tehran portrays president Aliyev as a puppet of Israel and the West. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan sees Iranian hands behind its Islamist opposition and both countries have arrested alleged spies.

Turks are Neutral but for how long?

As you all know Turkey is neutral in Israel/Iran conflict. But for how long? Iran has been supporting PKK terrorist against Turkey for a very long time. Turkish soldiers are dying at a daily basis. Turkish public has been sick of terror and the arrows are slowly turning towards Iran who recently has been exposed facilitating, supporting and arming terrorist against Turkey. Iran holds strategic location and opened terrorist camps on Irani soil (see source). For the Turkish government it would only take couple of weeks to convince Turkish public of crushing the head of Iranian snake. I warn Irani people to stop supporting terrorism otherwise you will loose the only neutral player in the region. As punishment, off course taking Syria and Iraq from Iran would be first step, but there is still an Iran who supports terrorism in the region until Irani farsi-facist government is not crushed, middle-east will not know peace. I warn Irani people here, stop supporting terrorism, otherwise you will pay the full price. The whole neighborhood is against you, if you continue with supporting terrorism Turkey will join the alliance to crush Iran and you will loose Turkey as a neutral player. Turkey has been nice to Iran but don't see this as weakness because if we have to we will support strike on Iran just like Arabs, Azeri, Israeli and others.

As the investigation deepens into an Iranian spy ring found to be operating in the eastern province of Iğdır, bordering Iran, a strong link has emerged between Iranian intelligence and the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), with new evidence seized by the Turkish police and intelligence agencies being shared with the Erzurum court responsible for the case.

The Iğdır Governor's Office announced in a written statement on Wednesday that police had detained in simultaneous operations eight Turkish suspects on charges of spying for Iranian intelligence. The arrests stem from the expansion of an investigation by police after the arrest of two Iranian citizens and one Turkish citizen on Aug. 19, 2011, all of whom were found in possession of digital recorders with information on state security.

The suspects were detained under Article 327 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK), which criminalizes the acquisition of information on state security by unauthorized individuals.

The detainees appeared before the Erzurum court on Friday to make their defense to the head judge. However, no public statement had yet been issued by the time Today's Zaman went to print.

The details are beginning to come to the surface as the investigation, launched by the Erzurum Prosecutor's Office into the suspected spies operating on behalf of Iranian intelligence agency VEVAK, continues. Reports forwarded by the National Intelligence Agency (MİT) to the court disclose the plans of the 10 alleged spies.

Turkish media reported on Wednesday that police had seized a Kalashnikov rifle, a shotgun, video records and secret correspondence between the suspects and Iranian intelligence officials. There were also records of phone conversations they had had with Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists.

According to security sources, the group had plans to foment an uprising among the Kurdish population in southern and southeastern Turkey, especially in provinces of Iğdır and Kars. The suspects face accusations of obtaining information on military personnel, the positions of troops in eastern Turkey, official buildings and the Syrian opposition to share with Iranian intelligence.

Police are strongly considering the existence of a link between the suspects and attacks on the offices of the Iğdır Police Department in November 2011 and July 2012.

The Bugün daily reported on Friday that the Iranian spies had recorded the positions of public buildings, including police departments, government offices and gendarmerie commands, in GPS devices. The same daily further claimed that PKK terrorists had used the intelligence provided by these spies via GPS devices when they launched an attack on an Iğdır police station with rocket-propelled grenades.

The revelation of the spy ring is another heavy blow to the already strained relations between Turkey and Iran, amid a deepening rift over how to respond to the unfolding Syrian conflict.

In the meantime, the Iranian embassy denies claims there are Iranian nationals among the detainees in the spy investigation. In a written statement, the embassy strongly refutes such claims, addressing the strong base of brotherhood between the people of the two countries. Additionally, the statement notes that the embassy has requested further information from the Turkish Foreign Affairs Ministry on the ongoing spy probe.
Evidence reveals link between Iranian intelligence and PKK

Conclusion
Irani people should think before supporting terrorism. Turkey is the only neutral player in the Irani/Israeli conflict, if Irani continues with its farsi-facism, Turkey will join the long list that wants to attack Iran. I only put this thread as a warning, you can agree or not agree but you will bare the consequences at the end. The Arabs want an Attack of Iran because of farsi-facism. The Azeri want an attack on Iran, the Isreali want an attack, the Americans want an Attack. The only one left is Turkey and if Iran continues this path they will pay the full price.

An attack on Iran will lead to further instability in the region and the muslim world. We can't afford to bear with either.

.
No it will not lead to instability, it will lead to peace on the long-term. With current Irani regime, there will be always war because of farsi-facism and their inclination to support terrorism. Iran will pay the full price. there is no going back.

A smarter policy would be to pacify Iran through dialogue and better representation in regional markets. Bring them into the mainstream and intertwine their interests with your own. Play the economics card.

i don't want them to be get attacked but i don't want them to be a nuclear power either.

It would be the Israelis on the forefront. And not all members of their think tank and decision making committee, only a few members IMO. Their PM being the main man.

The obsession of Arabs, and Saudi Arabia in particular can also not be ignored. They would be the first ones wanting Iran to go on it's knees IMO. Arab-Persian animosity will be on display should anything like this happen.

Coming onto Turkey, I don't think they would be wanting to have a say in this. As Icarus said, any war on Iran will be a big blow to the Muslim world and the region in general, and Turkey being a sensible and sane country, already displaying restraint on Syria issue, would not be wanting another escalation of conflict in the middle east, an already volatile neighborhood.

So I would be going for Israelis. But as Icarus said, any further conflict or military action will be Afghanistan 2.0 for the world, and the US (under Obama) doesn't want another war to go on. Israel will ask US for support, and I don't think Obama would be ready for that. Romney could have, but not this administration. Prices of oil could spiral up or fluctuate (although KSA could flood the market and do other things), but the general fallout in already volatile region would be too massive.

So I don't think anything is going to happen in the next 2 years atleast.

Have peace! Iran attack will not only damage the whole Economy of Middle East, it will draw us back to 100 yrs. Iran got alliance with Russia. So let them be with Russia. Russia is struggling badly with Economy and will be in serious trouble within 20 yrs if it keeps continue. Russia is fueling Iran like the way they are doing it now in Syria. What Turk nations need now to do is develop strong Economy and have strong defence shield. Russia won't be able to keep up. China is already out of their influences and now copying their defence system. It's not only good for Turks, asset for Pakistan to tackle against India. India is running all the Military factories of Russia with billions of dollar weapons and Sukhoi. Only a matter of time, Putin will struggle to control India's attraction to US. Then is the time I do think Iran will agree with you. You can easily hack Russia then. Wait just 20 yrs. Have patience.
