Which car is the best in Pakistan?

Yeah I see these SUVs are too expensive in Pakistan. Here in Atlanta, I can get the new (2016) Q5 for 51 - 55 Ks but in Pakistan I saw a 2012 model for 800 K Pkrs on Pakwheels. I think CR-V is really a good option.
The price jumps exponentially on bigger engine sizes. So why bay 30 grand more on something old. THe CR-V will still end up costing you around slightly less than the Audi.

At this point, It depends on how much you are willing to spend. The bigger the car, the higher the exponential quotient for the price in Pk.
If you have $30k lying around and dont care for resale then
Id recommend something like this:
http://www.pakwheels.com/used-cars/nissan-juke-2015-for-sale-in-karachi-1783371

If resale is on your mind. Just get a Toyota Corolla and move on with it.

I think our combined (me, my bro's) limit is around 55K which we can manage, any thing above would be absolute no but what we want to gift our dad a good vehicle on his birthday this year (in two month's time), we want something that works for at least 5-7 yrs without any issues that means a new car.

Toyota fortuner

Do you have Guys Ciaz in market? I am looking for my first car and I seem to find it more suitable to Indian roads. It's ground clearance is much better. Any similar suggestions?

Yes out of the door but you have to pay Registration fee etc later

A4 Cost 5.8 Million pkr
A6 Cost 7.5 Million pkr

And how much is the registration fee? Te prices are a bit more than what we pay in the US. But then the cars made for US are made under an entirely different ANSI engineering umbrella and standards.

I believe so, but current imports are generally cars from the flood stock or those with questionable histories.
The era for imported cars was 2006-2009.
After gwader port is operational Do you think the era for imported car can rise again?

Salam Note my experience in the cars are from UAE Dubai i have a small work shop base on that experience I'm telling you. I suggest buy a car which spare parts, service are easily available and cheap you see cars like Mercedes Audi BMW etc it might be good to buy but when maintaining the cars is the hard problem especially on it's part and it's Labour charges. And I'm speaking from experience I have a drived all the cars if you want a luxury car it's Lexus Model LS it's very smooth car. I drived cars from Ranger rover to Maserati
your father will go crazy when driving LS and if you want a normal car go for Toyota corolla the best but body wise not like 2006 which I still have it. Feel free to ask any Questions and i will gladly help you Brother
