where should be the most developed region of Pak in future

.
It should be D.I.Khan and central Pakistan, it falls in siraiki belt... that should be the base development area.

Nopes. Its not a strategic place to be developed.

I personally believe that the cities on the sea shore shud be the most developed coz it has an additional advantage PORT INFRA.

So for me, Karachi and Gwadar.

Gwadar!!

Hugeee potential
in fact Baluchistan have huge potential for development to international standards. Its Raw still and any thing can be done with it. Expanding a 40ft road to 100 ft is much much more difficult then constructing a 100 ft wide road on open land! I am not talking about roads only. Every infrastructure, airports, model housing scheams, industrial areas, model agriculture villages, everything can be planned and implemented in Baluchistan much more easily then the already populated and developed areas!

I sincerely wish and pray, our politicians don't ruin this. Baluchistan is and can be further refined to be the future of Pakistan!

To answer the original question.

In India there are a few hubs which are growing, others are less/not growing.
North - Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh Tricity Area, South - Bangalore, West - Greater Mumbai, South - Greater Chennai, East - Calcutta, Guwahati

These are the biggest nodes.

Calcutta is not growing - its becoming a dead city.

However, on the whole West India is more developed than East India.
Also there is a very very ambitious program constructed right now thanks to Japanese investment. Its DFC & DMIC
Dedicated Freight Corridor - It creates separate rail lines from for Freight from Delhi to Mumbai. Till now, the same tracks were used for both passenger rail as well as freight. Consequently, freight trains run at 25kmph with multiple stops and problems.
With this done, they should run at 80-90kmph without unnecessary stops. Entirely new lines are being laid.

Then all along this DFC, DMIC is comming up - Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor. This is supposed to be a mega industrial corridor for manufacturing. It envisages about 6 or 7 new cities being built altogether along with numerous other facilities. Purpose built to act as manufacturing hubs similar to what China has.

As thread starter have also asked about India, the areas are:

- Delhi NCR

- Mumbai + surroundings

- Chennai

- Hyderabad

- Bangalore

- Ahmadabad - Gandhinagar

.
For Pakistan:

Bahawalpur , Southern Punjab And Northern Sindh, FATA and NWFP

For India:

North East, Kashmir, Central Indian states.

As developments in the regions benefits South Asian regional security greatly.

.
Gilgit Baltistan Province, & Gawadar. Gawadar should be planned city like Islamabad & Industrialized like Karachi. Some other cities like Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta, Mardan, Mingora, Multan, Mirpur should be developed too.

.
Education should be number one priority. As China and some other developing nations have proved, it only takes a few years to improve cities but if you can't improve fundamentals like education and skill level nothing can move forward. If a poor country like India with such a huge population, diverse population and ethincities can inch forward, its only because it focused on the fundamentals. I know India is not considered a good example by many Pakistanis but it is the best example for those who wish to learn.

. .
faisalabad or sialkot-gujranwala-lahore triangle

From last 60+years where do you think is development going on? It is time for least developed regions & small cities that hold mighty potential but are neglected. Gawadar must be top most priority & next should be Gilgit Baltistan.

.
gwadar should be developed immediately, if pakistan needs to play a bigger role in the region and become rich
