Tata Nano in USA could cost around USD 8000 Industry sources are indicating that Tata might have to price their Nano car at around USD 8000 for the US market.

This is the expected price tag for the Nano in the European markets.Tata Nano base model is sold for around 2500-3000 USD in the Indian market.This model would need several upgrades and enhancements before it can be sold legally in the US and European markets.USD 8000 for the Tata Nano is pretty hefty price considering Hyundai Accent retails for around USD 10,000 in the USA.

The NANO that would be exported to the west(if it does) would be a better variant.

Not the basic ones you see in India.

Also the production model of these concepts could be a possibility.

well with abundant supply of engines from India i think we can sell this car all over the world.

one can convince is from logics and data figures , what cheetah says company production capacity plan to produce 25 K but only able to sell 10 k /month then its failure , since he didn't know indian market nor concept how car manufacturing happens.... If car touches 10K then its best any car maker can achieved.

How can you convince a 1 class guy , why rocket goes in curve and not straight.....using scientific logics..... he will only says that rocket didn't straight its fail.......... more over Indian industry , world wide auto industry, experts admire the Nano.

and what the funnest part is , he cited Tata nano uses different companies components to manufacturers it , wiper form different company, bulb from different company etc etc........... which make everyone who knows auto industry laugh................. he forgets every manufacturer works like this, even Susuki buys DSL engine from Fiat form its Dsl car and selling like hot cake......then fiat models.

Tata Motors Rolled out Indico, Manza, Aria, Vista out of Indica.

Now The Nano, Pixel and more to come!

OP should not declare Nano Family of Cars as Failure.

I agree with the part that Indica was followed by Indigo, Indigo CS, Vista & Manza.
But ARIA is a total class apart.
