What's new

When is the establishment/"neutrals" going to remove PPP in Sindh?

Simple question. Sindh is at a boiling point and so is the majority of Sindhis. Add the ridiculous outdated infrastructure, overall neglect (rural areas) combined with the floods. No sewage, drainage, or roads in many areas. It is a perfect recipe for a disaster and another potential regional insurgency emerging.

Elections in Sindh are being openly corrupted and nothing is done about this. Why have the bad apples among the waderas not been dealt with?

Why is the most corrupt and incompetent political party PPP still in power in Sindh when the majority are voting against them and when election fraud is taking place in broad daylight in Sindh to keep them in power as well as intimidation in villages and elsewhere by their cohorts? Instead the chor khandaan is doing PR stunts when he and his family have stolen billions of dollars throughout the many decades of their incompetent rule.

Where is the Pakistani establishment and "neutrals"? Do they want the undoing of Pakistan?

What a shame Pakistan has turned into.

Why would they

Unless people of sindh rise up its not going to change

If karachi people come out in streets and block karachi port for 1 week yeah PPPP will be gone

Karachi/hyderabad has 25% sests even though population is 40-50% there

Senses is needed in karachi

At this time karachites need to understand ..its in THEIR INTEREST to support nationality for all the illegal people in karachi which IK proposed and you guys hated

Why because you get more seats more votes

Just wishing the third generation of40 years old immigrants wont change anything

Bengalis and afghans in karachi sindh are now fourth and third generation.

So if you think u can wish them away then good luck

Why would establishment allow a fair and accurate census to take place in Sindh in the first place, particularly in Karachi. They clearly robbed Karachi of it's actual population by at least 10 million the last time around. Why would it do any different to remove the captain of their A team Zardari out of the way.

Time and again, democracy has been proven to be easily co-opt-able all over the world, by those who wield real power, read guns, be it Algeria or Egypt. People have to understand you can't use democratic means to upend an established and highly corrupt system that enjoys full protection of the military. Without a bloody revolution, nothing will fundamentally change in Pakistan.

Generals in Turkey were a lot more subdued and civilized because they had real hope of possibly getting into EU. With a baggage of gross human rights violations and massacres on their hands, they would have jeopardized their chances. Had those same generals been Egypt and Pakistan with no scruples, Erdogan would probably plying his trade as a veteran soccer coach in Istanbul these days, if not a martyr to a failed democratic movement.

They hanged the PM way before possibility of EU ever materialized and they ran over the protesters with tanks when the possibility of getting into EU was dead.

If you are targeting a sindhi community than i would say please go look kpk which is even worst but question here is not alone sindh entire system is based on corruption you just cant connect corruption with sindhis all people are here equal responsible we dont ask questions which we need to we dont have guts to fight for ever lasting betterment of our system and top of that as a nation we are equal corrupt dont want to allign our self to be live as humans

Where exactly am I targeting the Sindhi community? If anything I am targeting the neglect of the establishment of Sindh as a province. Which the recent catastrophic floods are a obvious example of.

Also why are you mentioning KPK out of a sudden? I have my feet in both camps if you want to know (written this extensively as well) and obviously a prosperous Sindh is of great interest for me and by default that of the entire country.

Sindh is a special case as the neglect is criminal and the "neutrals" are perfectly fine with the PPP monopoly and that useless party robbing and destroying Sindh. It has been going on for DECADES. Most recently there was widespread open election fraud. It is a joke frankly.

Since end of Raheel Sharif tenure PPP has excellent relationship with establishment and that is obviously helping it to keep its firm control on Sindh irrespective of corruption and bad governance

Sindh is literally like an ATM for PPP. Thy are making money nonstop since past 14 years. Not a single person can say that Karachi today in 2022 is any way better than karachi of 2007. It has gone down in every manner

But still nothing would happen since PPP romance with establishment is going strong

We all know that but is the establishment even aware of how dangerous the situation in Sindh is and the state of desperation of the people?

Obviously every main political party within Pakistan (same old corrupt political mafia dynasties) are protected and encouraged by the establishment. I have written about this extensively time and time again. PTI is a special case and I would not include them (yet) into this box although they were obviously elected by the blessing of the establishment the first time around.

They are all connected in a criminal network that is put into force to benefit only the same people (ruling elites and those connected to them) while the average person is irrelevant for them and is suffering in silence.

Balochistan is bad as it is but Sindh could very well be another hotspot of unrest if things are not going to change soon. What is going on right now is a tragedy.

Why would they care? The Status Quo suits them. Corrupt leaders keep their nose in the trough and don't ask any questions or have any expectations of establishment. They STFU and do as they're told. Their objective in power is not leadership but money making.

Non corrupt leaders take office to lead the country, they ask awkard questions, bloody civillians with opinions and expectations. Establishment don't want to deal with that.
3xsctly
Only logical conclusion since RCO, only that it backfired and people reacted in a way that NEUTRALS just got wrong footed and awestruck.
We are witnessing a new Era in Pakistan.
Establishment will be put to its right place which is bunkers along LOC and WB.

Karachi does not equal all of Sindh and Karachi itself is a small monogram of Pakistan as a whole.

PPP operates like a criminal mafia organization along with the Sindhi elites that benefit from them. In other words the waderas that keep employing the majority of Sindhis in rural Sindh.

Nobody in Pakistan irrespective of region is revolting or doing anything substantial to truly change the status quo. To expect Sindhis to do it in the complex reality that is Sindh is a bit too optimistic.

I am not from Karachi nor a Muhajir so you are speaking to the wrong crowd here. Nor am I wishing for any third or fourth generation migrants in Pakistan to leave unless they are not law-abiding citizens. If anything the history of Karachi is a clear example of such policies not making much sense.

as long as there is land to be grabbed they need PPP to legalize land grabbing and as long as there are thaikas to be awarded they will keep protecting PPP!

dhanda hai boss Mulk gaya bhar may

Heartbreaking.

May Allah bless the land of Sindh
The most important question is where is the Pakistani state and elites? What have they done to change the status quo in Sindh for the past 40 years? Why is PPP begging the people to donate money for the floods to the same corrupt mafia political party that has embezzled billions of dollars in Sindh itself that should have gone to the betterment of the province and its citizens? Why is PPP employing bots on Twitter and elsewhere that are doing their propaganda online?

Why is this being tolerated by Islamabad and the "neutrals" in Rawalpindi?

Why is the establishment, including the useless judiciary (which is not independent contrary to their pathetic claims which we saw clear examples of in their recent farce judgements in relation to PTI and IK), not doing anything to stop the obvious, consistent and rampant election fraud in Sindh that is the main reason why PPP clings to power to this very day?

It is all beyond crazy.

1000 dead (almost) due to floods because people in Sindh (most) lack basic infrastructure that even most African countries now have.

Our "elites" have no shame.

Problem with Sindhi masses is those that are enfranchised and form the basis of PPP's electorate/voters enjoy numerous benefits from PPP, i.e. no-show jobs in various state institutions and their support to PPP is unwavering. The disenfranchised/majority of the Sindhi populace that don't vote and won't have an iota on PPP's electorate power are too downtrodden and beholden to their feudal lords to never be of any consequence.

The real issue is the perennial support establishment has provided PPP going back to Yahya days. Without this support, PPP will melt away within an election cycle.

Lol 🤣🤣 You need to read thier political history than, they were tyrants, only people who can come close to thier tyranny is probably Egyptian army

Though the economy was better early on and people did got education..that was establishment mistake over there

@ziaulislam
This, Education was the only difference, Turkish army was much much more brutal at a political, societal level

Pak army can't afford to be as brutal on a regular basis as we are a mutli ethnic country(not saying they're saint's either, ), except for in Punjab they can't afford to be brutal elsewhere

Imagine doing May 25th type planned action elsewhere in the country, that would have led to a civil war

But this action happened in Punjab against PTI, not only PTI but against tlp too by PTI government

Status quo in Sindh only changed once and that was thanks to a young, very young boy named Qasim.
