Pakistans basic problem is justice and law enforcement. Karachi is just a symptom. Not a disease. It's just shows how people treat each other in Pakistan.

The only sane solution is to devolve power to the local councils and keep legislative control only in the hands of the provincial assemblies. Better still dissolve provincial assemblies and send representation from local councils directly to national assemblies. The provincial assemblies will effectively become defunct. This is why the Patwaris and waderas are so afraid of devolving power downstream. Even PTI is guilty of not doing so early enough.

Nope ethnos in Punjab get killed
it's just political parties (even they publicly support SP PMLn including but due to political engineering reasons don't follow through with Thier promises)- on ground people considered SP to be different than rest of the province (they're Punjabis but distinct culturally, ethnically and in Thier dialect of punjabi)
Only thing people disagree on is name
Name it south Punjab not seraiki suba

They don't want divisions along language, ethnic basis but more on practical/geographical reasons

The establishment can easily fix this issue by doing an honest census of Karachi, which would accord it 45 NA and 90 PA seats commensurate with it's population of 25 to 30 million, but it won't do that cause it will negate the importance of takht-e-lahore, which is the base of power for establishment, hence who ever controls Lahore controls Pakistan.

In this hypocritical enterprise both PPP and establishment are colluding since day one they even manage to bring MQM along when need be.

Your entire comment is absolutely on the mark. IMO Karachi should be a separate province, or a federal territory with a mayor at the helm of affairs, chosen directly by the people of Karachi. Empower the people, and stamp out the terrorists, and ethno fascist groups of all shades. Good governance should take care of most of Karachi's problems.

This govt hasn't even created South Punjab province yet. But yes a South Sindh province would be a good idea.

Province can only be created when both sides willingly agree or atleast think it's the right thing to do

Even with new census a good chunk of karachi will vote for PPPP

with PPPP gathering 20% seats from karachi it can easily forum govt with interior sindh votes
