What's your favourite movie and why?

My favourite movie is Lord of the rings. I still watch it after 10 years. The reason I love it because it is all about adventure. Then strange things like ork, nasty looking beings aren't they? Also there is war. Among the three I love fellowship and the return of the king the most. I find two towers bit boring.

Why? - oh well all of them were great movies... X-Men didn't lose quality after gaining success in the first part unlike other sequel movies such as Spiderman.

I am very sure I have seen 95% of Bruce Lee & Jackie Chan's movies. Used to be big fan of kung fu

Its a toss between Schindler's List and the Dead Poet's Society ! As for why because either of those films liberated me in ways I can't really explain except that I wasn't the same man afterwards !

A distant third could be 'the War of Buttons' because never have I wanted to go to Ireland that badly then I did after watching the film and nor have I ever wanted to be a part of something bigger then me (a cause..a movement..something !) as I did when the 10 year old me saw the movie !

I'll go with pirates of the caribbean .
There is something about it , i cant tell what but yes that adventure is different something i havent experienced in other movies .
So my vote goes to POC and to harry potter to an extent .

Torn between three.

1. Fight club
why? because its fight club.

2.Das boot
why? because most war movies give you an allied perspective on the second world war, this particular one shows the viewer the human side of the German soldiers.

3. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
